Game of the Month: September 2017

September has a series strong releases such as Destiny 2, Hob and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider. It ended strongly with the release of Cuphead and now we're in October for much more gaming fun. But what was the best game of last month?

Metroid: Samus Returns

Metroid fans have been waiting forever for Samus to come back. Her anniversary was left forgotten by Nintendo but still celebrated by her fanbase. Now the legendary Bounty Hunter has returned and while it's a remake of an existing adventure it was still amazing.

Metroid: Samus Returns was everything that a fan of Metroidvania games could want. Dense labyrinth caverns, exciting bosses, and a lot of collectible powerups. Many gamers sacrificing days getting everything Energy Tank and missile upgrade just for the 100% completion. It may be a long time before Metroid Prime 4 releases but knowing that Samus hasn't lost her touch is reliving enough, for now.
