Gamer Expo + Update

So you have €20 in your pocket and you just don’t know what to do with, you could go on a mad spend over the Halloween weekend or how about a guaranteed fun-filled weekend of playing games and having a good time in the Citywest Convention Centre!

And that’s not all there is also Cosplay, Live Music, developer talks (for you budding game developers) and general fun. This is Ireland’s first big gaming expo and its going to be crazy, so buy your tickets now to avoid disappointment. But Late monday night I saw people saying on twitter: 

Gamer Expo postponed due to issues in Citywest! Checkout gamerexpo.net for all details....

 

So i did this is what it had to say:

Due to an order by the Senior Executive Fire Prevention Officer in relation to issues arising at the Citywest Convention Centre, GAMER Expo 2010 has been postponed until further notice.

We wish to confirm that all ticket purchases will be honoured (or refunded). For refunds enquire with your ticket agent or email info@gamerexpo.net.

It is our intention to re-schedule the event at a later date at Citywest Convention Centre, when the issues with the Fire Protection Officer are resolved, or alternatively at a different venue.

Further details will be released as soon as possible.

 

-so yeah we were looking forward to this- myself and Dan ( @PvtCaboose ) we where going up to it- I was going to try to sneak in to there hotel room _as i haven't been paid by teh state yet (so i called the welfare-they said next week) but yeah once i found out about the expo  I was right on to dan and everybody else- we are all waiting for a update - it had 9-10 days to go and all.
