German Visitors Day 1

Guten Tag! :)

Today was quite eventful. Funky47 and I went to the airport today to pick up Lara, my German exchange partner. She's so sweet. :)  Right now she's sleeping and it's not even 9pm because Germany is 6 hours ahead of my time.  And she woke up at 4am GERMANY time... so yeah. She's exhausted.

So after we went to the airport and picked up Lara, we went out to a  lunch/dinner at AppleBee's. Very good. And we told her about how silly we are and what we're going to be doing. She's so excited, but it's so weird with the time for her right now.

After going out to eat, we came home and unpacked Lara's stuff, played with Eunice (our dog), showed her the house, and we did a lot of talking.  Very fun. ^^

Basically, that is what we did today.  Lara also brought gifts for my family. She brought with a lot of yummy chocolate, a nice German-scenery/monuments book, and a film for us! It's really awesome.

For now... I'm going to be blogging about what I'm doing with Lara and the German exchange students. I'll be playing a little bit, but only when we're bored and have a lot of down time. I'm going to make her American experience amazing. :D
