The Spicy Coltana stands as one of the most powerful endgame weapons available in Grounded 2's early access content.

This two-handed weapon requires you to complete all available content and gather specific rare materials.

The procedure in Grounded 2 requires slaying the last boss, gathering a special recipe, and searching the game world for three different kinds of materials.

Requirements and Obtaining Recipes

You must first defeat the last boss in the Statue Region to finish all early access content before you can start crafting the Spicy Coltana.

After successfully defeating this boss, you will gain access to a special room containing the Head of Burgle.

Within this room, you will find several essential items, including a Sizzling Key and an Optical Disk.

Most importantly, to unlock the crafting option for the Spicy Coltana, you need to find and interact with a recipe in this same area in Grounded 2.

After obtaining the recipe, go to your crafting menu and choose the category for weapons.

You can now craft the Spicy Coltana under the two-handed weapons section. Spicy Glob, EverChar Coal Chunks, and Wolf Spider Chunks are the three materials needed to make the weapon.

Collecting Chunks of Wolf Spider

Wolf Spider Chunks can be obtained by defeating Wolf Spiders found throughout the game world.

If you did not acquire enough chunks from the final boss encounter, you can locate these creatures in several specific areas in Grounded 2.

The first location is in the Ceremony region near a cabinet where one Wolf Spider typically roams. The second location is beneath a street light at the junction connecting Picnic Table, Grass and Snackbar Front areas, where a Wolf Spider sleeps in a nest but also roams the surrounding area.

The third location is in Pine Hill, where another Wolf Spider is found wandering to the left of the Autograph Baseball.

You have several tactical choices when fighting Wolf Spiders. You can engage in direct combat with them using standard techniques, or you can use ranged combat from a higher altitude using a bow and arrows.

Their pathfinding is frequently confused by the elevated approach, which prevents them from reaching you while you launch an aerial attack.

Pine cones and other elevated terrain features are good candidates for this strategy. Each defeated Wolf Spider will drop Fangs, Venom, and about five Wolf Spider Chunks in Grounded 2.

Gathering Chunks of Everchar Coal

Everchar Coal Chunks can be found north of this landmark, close to the Fire Pit location. Because cockroaches patrol the area, you will need to approach this area with caution.

When gathering these materials, be ready for the heat damage you will experience after eliminating any hostile creatures.

Because of the extreme heat in the area, the collection process necessitates tactical planning. To facilitate the process, you can wear clothing with high heat resistance or use items that lessen heat damage.

As an alternative, you can use fast hit-and-run strategies to gather these chunks without wearing protective gear. Make sure you have healing items on hand, like health bars, then dash into the heated area, break off a chunk, immediately eat a healing item, and quickly flee to safety.

Do this again after your health has completely recovered in Grounded 2.

Multiple Everchar Coal Chunks are scattered around the Fire Pit area, so you will need to repeat this collection method several times.

Some chunks may be positioned in slightly less dangerous locations on the eastern side of the Fire Pit, potentially allowing for collection without taking heat damage.

Getting Spicy Globs

Spicy Globs represent the most challenging material to acquire, as they are currently only obtainable through one method in the early access version.

You must travel to the bottom of Pine Hill and follow a specific tree route to reach a hidden location.

If you possess an Ant Buggy, you can break through specific barriers to access this area. Alternatively, with an Orb Weaver, you can jump over checkpoints to reach the destination.

Follow the tree route northward toward the Pine Tree until you reach the base, where further progression becomes impossible.

A leaf and an odd formation can be seen below if you look to your right. Discover a secret location with spider nests and other features by descending into this area in Grounded 2.

Proceed to the rear of this section, where a chest that needs particular tools to open is located.

Tools Needed for Gathering Spicy Globs

You have to craft an Omni Shovel Level Two before you can get the Spicy Globs. The first step in this process is to create an Omni Axe Level Two, which calls for Blueberry Chunks that can be found inside the ice cream cart or on top of the Picnic Table.

Take these chunks to a research center to unlock Blueberry Leather, then craft this material at a Workbench.

You will also need Cockroach Chunks, which can be obtained from various locations, including underneath the trash can where baby Cockroaches spawn, or around the Fire Pit area.

Once you have crafted the Omni Axe Level Two, use it to harvest Needle Bundles found around Pine Hill and other areas with Pine Trees.

These bundles provide the Pine Needles necessary for the Shovel upgrade.

The final component required is a Northern Scorpion Stinger, obtained by defeating full-sized Northern Scorpions in Grounded 2.

These creatures can be found in nests near the Ice Cream Cart and throughout that general area.

Be careful to target the correct type of scorpion, as the game features three different sizes. Only the most significant Northern Scorpions drop the required stinger, not the Northern Scorpion Juniors or more minor variants.

Final Collection and Crafting

With your Omni Shovel Level Two completed, return to the hidden area beneath Pine Hill. Use the Sizzling Key obtained from the final boss area to unlock the buried treasure chest.

This chest contains two Spicy Globs, which are currently the only source of this material in Grounded 2.

Find a Workbench and open the crafting menu after you have acquired the three necessary supplies.

To create your new weapon, go to the weapons section and choose the Spicy Coltana. The gun is very effective against common enemies like Orb Weaver Juniors and Larvae because it significantly increases damage compared to basic spears and other early-game weapons.

While the damage increase may be less noticeable against high-health enemies like Ladybugs, the Spicy Coltana represents a substantial upgrade for continued gameplay and exploration in Grounded 2.
