An Aspect of Gilgamesh is one of the hidden weapon Aspects in Hades. Unlocking it requires investing Titan Blood, encountering a specific foe, and getting the Waking Phrase before it becomes available at the weapon stand in Hades.
Titan Blood Investment
You first need to invest a total of five Titan Blood into the Fists’ Aspects. It does not matter which Aspects you upgrade, as long as the total reaches five. Once this requirement is complete, you can proceed to the dialogue necessary to unlock the element.

Encountering Asterius
After spending the Titan Blood, you must face Asterius in a solo encounter. This happens before his paired fight with Theseus. The encounter usually appears around chamber 30, marked with a Boon reward and a Skull. However, there are times when a Butterfly Ball may take the chamber instead, making the appearance of Asterius somewhat random in Hades.
When you face Asterius with the Fists equipped, you want to trigger the dialogue where he remarks on you fighting barehanded. In this line, he recalls how even the champion once defeated him in that manner when they lived there. If this dialogue occurs, it means you are progressing correctly toward unlocking the Aspect.

You then need to reencounter him in a later run. During this meeting, it does not matter which weapon you are holding, as he will provide the Waking Phrase.
One crucial detail is to avoid activating Extreme Measures 3 when facing him, as this condition causes him to discuss his armor instead, preventing the Waking Phrase dialogue from appearing in Hades.
Unlocking the Hidden Aspect
Once you get the Waking Phrase from Asterius, return to the House and approach the Fists’ placeholder. Equip the Twin Fists and then interact with them again. This will reveal the Aspect of Gilgamesh.

Abilities and Effects of the Aspect
The Aspect of Gilgamesh provides several unique abilities. Holding the dash button gives you two additional dashes. Your upper dash special applies a mark on enemies that causes them to take twenty-five percent more damage, but in return, they will also deal fifty percent more damage to you.
This mark lasts for four seconds and ends with a burst of damage similar to the Doom effect. Alongside this, your standard attack gains a five-hit sequence, and your dash attack strikes twice in Hades.
