The Great Taste of Pharloom is a collection of Wishes that have you find and gather five rare Treats scattered throughout different parts of Pharloom. This Wish will take you to various locations and include a range of challenges, from simple conversations to fights and platforming sections.

To start this Wish, locate the person who gives Wishes in the dining hall area of Choral Chambers and engage in conversation with them more than once after interacting with a specific object to reveal the dialogue choices in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Starting the Wish

There is an NPC in the Choral Chambers who can give you this Wish. The person who can grant you the Wish can be found in the dining hall area of this location. You have to interact with something close first before you can talk to the NPC.

You'll need to talk to him more than once to get the Great Taste of Pharloom Wish, which tells you to gather five special Treats from all over the map in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Collecting Mossberry Stew

From this collection, the Mossberry Stew is the easiest treat to get. Go to Bone Bottom and look for the area in the top right corner of this area. The NPC here is called the Moss Druid, and you may have met them before on a Wish that involved moss nuts.

If you talk to the Moss Druid, they will give you the Mossberry Stew right away without asking you to do anything else or pay them in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Getting Vintage Nectar

To get Vintage Nectar, you have to do more complicated steps and finish a Wish that comes before it. Find the pub or bar in this area of Greymoor by going there. You can buy the Vintage Nectar from a Barkeep inside, but only after you finish his first task requirement.

The Barkeep's Wish is to get rid of the creatures that have moved into his roof. Leave the bar and go up to the roof, where you'll find flying enemies.

Your goal is to get 25 Pelts from these creatures, which means you have to keep killing the same enemy. Go back inside the bar after each kill, then go outside to see the enemy respawn. Do this twenty-five times more until you have collected enough Pelts.

When the Pelt gathering Wish is over, go back to the Barkeep and buy the Vintage Nectar. With this deal, a doorway to a special place will be opened. Prepare for fights along the way as you go through this doorway and make your way to the bottom of the new area in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

At the bottom, there is an object that can be inspected, which leads to a series of fights with enemies. You have to beat all the enemies in this challenge. When the last enemy dies, an item will appear on the floor where you can pick up the Vintage Nectar.

Finding Pickled Muckmaggot

The Pickled Muckmaggot can be found on Sinner's Road, which is next to Greymoor. To reach this place from Greymoor, head east. To get to the needed spot, you'll need to be able to jump double because you have to go through a raised path and follow a particular path.

You can reach an arena area with a boss fight by following the road that goes up and across. Get ready to fight before you go into this part. You can pick up the Pickled Muckmaggot from the arena floor after you beat the boss in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Getting Crustnut

The most challenging part of this Wish is the platforming part in the Crustnut. This item can be found in the Sands of Karak area, right above where you found the map NPC. This part needs strong parkour skills and all of your traversal skills.

In this area, there are a lot of spiked walls that you need to break through to move forward. There are many dead ends and false paths on the road, so it's essential to follow the correct order. Go down and to the right after entering through the marked entrance. There is a platform that allows you to jump and continue through the tunnel.

From a specific spot on the wall, jump up and to the left, then keep going in this way. Do a double jump, then a harpoon move to the left on another part of the wall, and then grab the wall.

Go all the way down and turn left to find the Crustnut in its final spot. Break through the spiked walls that are in this exact path to get to the item in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Securing Courier's Rasher

Before you can get the Courier's Rasher, you have to finish the Brother Courier job line. Find two brother NPCs standing on top of a hill in Bellhart to start this process. To receive the Courier's Rasher delivery task, you need to use these brothers' delivery services from Wish.

If the Courier's Rasher delivery isn't in their first list of options, end the conversation and start it again. This should bring up new dialogue choices that include the delivery mission you want in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Before you accept this delivery, you should know that it comes with strict rules: you only have a certain amount of time to finish it, you can't use teleporters during the mission, and you can't get damaged while carrying the item. To give something, you have to go west from Bellhart through Shellwood, then into the Choral Chambers, where the recipient NPC is waiting.

Inside the Choral Chambers, the location will be marked on your map. Accept the Courier's Rasher delivery to set the timer and indicate the package's destination in the top left area of the screen. Carefully follow the marked path, keeping in mind the time limit and the need to avoid damage in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Completing the Wish

To finish the Great Taste of Pharloom Wish, go back to the person who gave you the Wish in the Choral Chambers after you have collected all five Treats. When you finish this task, you'll get Pale Oil as a prize and an achievement. Pale Oil is something you can use to improve your tool.

To use the Pale Oil, go to Bellhart and look for an NPC with a weapon named Monster Plinney. Talk to this NPC to get access to choices for upgrading your weapons. With the Pale Oil, you can sharpen your needle weapon even more, which makes it do more damage in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
