One of the prominent non-player characters in Hollow Knight: Silksong is Eva, who lives deep within the Weavenest Atla's spider-infested caverns. Eva is located near Bone Bottom, a dark and web-filled area of Atla that requires some planning and traversal skills to reach if you're unsure where to start your search.

The journey is challenging for players new to this area, but it becomes much easier to find her if you possess the right skills and know the way.

You must first travel to the entrance of Atla itself to begin your approach. This is located along the eastern wall of the Moss Grotto, one of the main locations you will visit during Silksong's early development.

What You Need to Find Eva

Without the Needolin ability, a vital traversal tool that enables you to interact with specific barriers and mechanical gates, you cannot reach the door to Atla. If you haven't got it yet, you'll have to come back later, as the passage is sealed otherwise.

It is essential to unlock Needolin as soon as possible to ensure seamless exploration, as many guides note that it becomes a recurring key in Acts 1 and 2.

Where You Need to Go

Once you have opened the gate, you can enter the Weavenest's dark and complex tunnels. If this is your first visit, you will notice right away that the area is inactive—many paths are blocked, and power has been cut.

First, you need to turn the nest's systems back on. To do this, you must travel all the way east in Atla to find two big switches. Restoring power requires pressing both, which reawakens the central lift system.

It enables you to descend farther into the Weavenest's numerous levels and ultimately leads to Bone Bottom, where Eva is located; this lift is an essential component of your navigation here.

On your descent, you will come across a bench located just west of the lift's main shaft. It is highly recommended that you rest here, not only to set a checkpoint but also to prepare for the enemies and traversal challenges ahead.

Destructible debris fills the Weavenest, obstructing pathways and corridors and forcing you to clear them one after another to proceed. If you are caught off guard, this section can feel unrelenting because enemies are constantly dropping from above and swerving between the obstacles.

To reach Eva, continue moving towards the right from the lift, breaking through the breakable obstructions as you go. The pathways gradually become narrower and twist, leading you further into the heart of the webbed tunnels.

You will eventually reach her location after navigating through several blocked passages. Eva herself is discovered close to Bone Bottom, encircled by thick layers of spider silk and the remains of damaged buildings.
