Looking to add a realistic security feature to your park in Jurassic World Evolution 2?
This guide outlines a method to place a Vehicle Gate directly onto a Guest Path without the need for mods.
If you follow these steps, you'll be able to make high-security builds, add detailed security checks, and easily block off restricted areas of your park, like top-secret zones, without receiving the "unconnected building" message. Follow the steps below to add this cool trick to your Jurassic adventures without any problems.

Using the Lagoon Glitch
The key method for this trick is leveraging the Lagoon glitch, a tactic made popular by the community in projects such as the Aron Lagoon build.
Special thanks go to Cretaceous Containment for originally showcasing how to use the Lagoon Platform glitch to set regular gates over a tour track, which inspired testing the method on paths.

Step-by-Step Tutorial
To begin, start by preparing the terrain. Count thirteen rings, similar to the rings on a tree: 1, 2, 3, and so on up to 13. It is important to start at a slight elevation to prevent forming too much of a crater and to finish on a plateau.
Place the lagoons next. To get the water very close to the lagoons, dig down just a tiny bit and then flatten the area. Add water again, which will allow the water to get close to the edge of the lagoon, an important requirement for the Lagoon Rock Platform glitch to function correctly.
Select the Lagoon Rock Platform and identify where it turns blue; place the platform in one of these blue-highlighted spots. All of these steps, even though certain elements will be deleted later, are crucial for the glitch to work.
Remove the water at this point. Bring the path under the Lagoon Rock Platform; you will notice that it can be positioned underneath the platform. Lay down the path in the space beneath the overhang formed by the platform.
Prepare to place the Gate by digging deeper if the Gate does not fit at first. Continue lowering the terrain until the Gate can be placed successfully on the guest path. If needed, switch between different types of gates for a preferred look. If the Gate is off-center, modify the path slightly to align everything.
Once alignment and proper placement are confirmed, delete unnecessary platforms and other temporary constructions. Now, the Gate will sit directly on the Guest Path.

Functional Results
Opening the Gate allows guests to travel freely through the path. Closing it will restrict access, blocking entry to particular park sections.
This method delivers creative freedom to design secure or restricted areas that function seamlessly within your park layout and management.
With this guide, you are equipped to expand your park's realism and security measures, thanks to the Lagoon glitch technique and careful gate placement.
