Jurassic World Evolution 2 Guide | How to Quarantine Dinosaurs
A quick, reliable setup to isolate sick dinosaurs, unlock cures, and stop outbreaks from spreading.

It can be sudden and hard to understand when sickness hits your park. The easy way to stop infections from spreading through shelters is to put them in quarantine. As soon as you remove a sick dinosaur, you can properly scan it, look up a cure, and quickly take back control. This works best if you set up a special area before the next spread starts.Set Up a Dedicated Quarantine Pen
A quarantine pen is a place you keep ready in case of an emergency. You only have to set it up once, and then you may use it whenever dinosaurs are ill. Make it comfortable for the kinds of dinosaurs you generally transfer there so they don't move around while you're treating them. When you can, keep it empty. If you can't, just let infected dinosaurs in so that healthy ones don't get sick.

Move Sick Dinosaurs Immediately
When a dinosaur gets sick, the goal is to separate it quickly. Calm down the sick dinosaur and take it right away to the quarantine pen. This keeps people from touching each other, stops the spread, and speeds up and cleans up the next steps. If you do it early, different enclosures won't turn into a chain outbreak either.

Scan Again With the Medical Facility to Unlock Cure Research
After the dinosaur is inside quarantine, use the medical facility to scan it again. This second scan is important because it enables the research needed to find the cure. Without completing that scan step, cure research can stay locked, which is why quarantine occasionally seems as if it “isn’t working” until you do this correctly.

Cure the Disease and Reduce Future Outbreaks
Once scanning is done, research the cure and apply treatment. Diseases like avian pox may require that scan-and-research loop before the cure becomes available. After you unlock the cure, you gain stronger control over future cases, and outbreaks become much easier to shut down quickly.
