THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST EPISODE OF THE WALKING DEAD: THE FINAL SEASON. CONTINUE AT YOUR OWN RISK

The first episode in Clementine's final journey was full of shocking moments and tense situations but what's next? The next episode called Suffer the Children doesn't have a release date but we can still predict what will happen next. Here are our predictions for Telltale's The Walking Dead: The Final Season - Episode 2 Suffer the Children.

Issues Within the Group

At the end of the episode, we learn that Marlon made a difficult decision to keep his group safe. In exchange for Tennessee's sisters, the group was spared from the Raiders attack, however, like in season 1 with Ben and the bandits they want more. Marlon sold Clementine and A.J. to the Raiders in exchange for his group's safety. This led to a massive conflict that ends with Marlon's death either at the hand of Clementine or Alvin Junior.

Regardless of how Marlon dies one thing is for certain, someone has to pay. Louis was Marlon's closest friend and if anything he'll most likely become unhinged seeing his friend die, especially if Clementine asks for his aid. This could create a civil war within the group with the Twin's brother Tennesse and Violent, who was in a relationship with one of the twin's Minerva, siding with Clementine. We've seen it happen multiple times before and it's happening again.

Raider Attack

One thing is certain, these Raiders are dangerous and are expecting Marlon to pay them Clementine and Alvin Junior. While it's disturbingly clear why the Raiders wanted the twin girls it's unclear why they want Alvin Junior, regardless, they are going to come around as it's inferred that the school's location is known by Abel; one of the Raiders.

Considering that the player has a choice to kill Abel this can lead to either an assault or perhaps a more passive conflict in the upcoming episode. What is clear is that these Raider's know this group exist and if they don't get what they want there will be blood. Or as the episode title infers, suffering children.

What Did You Do A.J.!?

Alvin Junior doesn't have the best track record with other people, mostly due to him having little social skills since Clementine has been the only person he's spoken to in a long time. When A.J. ends up shooting Marlon this is when things are presented front and center, Alvin Junior has no problem killing other people.

After killing Marlon A.J. looks around bewildered while people, especially Clementine, are shocked. This will likely be a heated topic as Clementine attempts to teach A.J. that killing people is wrong before loses any chance for empathy and life.
