New PC!

Let me begin with this: biZZy, thank you for the solutions you gave me. Unfortunately, I didn't use them. Why? You're surely going to laugh lol. Just read through and learn of my mistake, one I can classify as a noob mistake ;p
As for the comments people left, I don't have much in terms of reply to say. But to reply to Tanya since she asked a question (be sure to let me know for others who left a question and I just forgot it while writing this blog), I'll answer here. The games I own on PC are:
On Steam: Aquaria, Audiosurf, Bejeweled Twist, Bullet Candy, Chains, Crayon Physics Deluxe, Gumboy Crazy Adventures, Lucidity, Lumines, Machinarium, Penumbra Overture, Penumbra Black Plague, Penumbra Requiem, Windosil.
On Disc: Thief, Thief II, Touhou 6 to 11 which are in order: The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil (6), Perfect Cherry Blossom (7), Immaterial and Missing Power (7.5), Imperishable Night (8), Phantasmagoria of Flower View (9), Shoot the Bullet (9.5), Mountain of Faith (10), Subterranean Animism (11).
So as you all know, I had ordered a 430W PSU along with a brand new case, all of these for my brand new GeForce 8800GT card. I received the stock on Friday, December 11th. Shipping was really fast since I had placed my order on Wednesday during the same week, towards 11pm. Oh and sorry, I didn't take any pictures.
Alright, so I receive my items, it's about 5:30pm, I eat diner like a crazy hyper kid from being so excited in making my very first PC upgrade in my life. So excited that I had lost apetite for most of the food and left out a lot of it, which was ordered chicken, which meant wasted money in some kind of way lol. I unpack everything: beautiful. As soon as I enter my room, I start unplugging my old HP tower and removing every components from it, making sure to remember how everything was plugged in to the mother board. There isn't much to be explained here: Removing everything from the old tower, to then install everything in the new tower along with my new power supply.
All happy and joyful, I press the power button and see the BIOS screen come up as it does every single time I boot my computer.. then nothing. The PC would continuously freeze on the BIOS screen attempt after attempt. I then decide to put everything back in the old tower, with the old PSU, thinking I had messed my mother board by not being careful enough.. but then everything started working again!
After talking with two of my coworkers who build their own PCs as well, we started evaluating many possible causes and solutions. I tried everything I could ever think of during a lifetime. While we were coming with nothing that actually worked. I also sent a message to biZZy, thinking "one more brain on this cannot hurt!" and knowing, now, that biZZy is pretty good in this area, I thought it was a wise choice. He quickly replied, though I was away from home for a while, with some more solutions. Unfortunately, none of them worked either.
I started mixing up stuff together to find the source of the problem.
I put the mother board into the old HP tower, but plugged everything with the new power supply: It worked.
I then do the same, but in the new tower: Doesn't work.
I tried leaving the motherboard into the new tower, but used the Power/Reset/HDD LEDs of my old HP tower: Did not work.
I do the opposite, put the motherboard in the old HP tower but with the wires of the new tower: Works like a charm.
As it goes, complexity of the problem rises, and I start wondering what the hell did I do wrong.. Until then. I realized one of the stupidest mistakes I could have done: I forgot to put the spacers behind the mother board in the new case, which meant the mother board was touching and conducting on the back panel of the new tower. Shame on me. The smallest, stupidest mistake I could have done in my opinion. Those small spacers gave me 3 days of hard thinking and headaches. I troubled 2 of my coworkers and biZZy for some small, wicked spacers lol.
Now though, everything is fine and I can finally run my games at full resolution for screen, with all the settings to the maximum. Thanks to the people who tried to help me as much as they could, despite this being a noobish mistake on my part :]
