Here's a guide on how to farm Coralum in Palworld.

Coralum Ore serves as a valuable resource in Palword, being particularly useful for crafting ammunition and advanced gear.

There are two different farming methods covered in this guide: a passive breeding method that gives you pure Coralum Ore and an active fishing method that gives you extra valuable treasure while you collect ore in Palworld.

Passive Breeding Method

Begin your Coralum Ore farming journey by travelling to the Isle of the Glacial Core. Your target is Whalaska, a whale-type pal that naturally drops Coralum Ore when processed. Weaken these creatures before attempting to capture them to ensure a successful acquisition.

You can find Whalaska variants in multiple locations. An alpha variant spawns to the northwest of the main Whalaska population. Additionally, an Ignis variant appears near the volcano island on the far western edge of the map in Palworld.

Setting Up Breeding Operations

Once you obtain a breeding pair of Whalaska, place them in a breeding pen to generate eggs. Transport these eggs to your Hatchery for incubation.

After hatching, take the newly born Whalaska to the Pal Disassembler to extract Coralum Ore.

This method produces the purest concentration of Coralum Ore with minimal effort. For maximum efficiency, establish eight breeding pens with sixteen Whalaska breeding simultaneously in Palworld.

This arrangement provides quick access to Coralum Ore and is ideal for obtaining ammunition for weapons like the Charge Rifle.

Keep in mind that pairing two alpha Whalaskas together doesn't always result in alpha offspring; thus, normal variations are significant for farming in Palworld.

Active Fishing Method

To get the Advanced Fishing Rod technology, you need to reach level 45. Get the Powerful Fishing Magnet at level 61. You need Hexolite to make it.

Although Hexolite is expensive, each magnet initially yields five to ten Coralum Ore, making the investment worthwhile. As you get better at this farming approach, you'll get better fishing rods, such as the Depresso fishing rod, which significantly enhances the amount of fish you catch from underwater nodes in Palworld.

Optimal Fishing Locations

Before you go fishing, make sure your swimming Pal is ready. Because it can jump, Neptilius works really well to help you find underwater wreckage nodes more easily.

Go to Fay Break and start your agricultural journey from the northern shore. Go toward the sea, where you'll find wreckage sites all over the water. These wrecks resemble barrels with golden rings around them, which makes them stand out from other sites with black rings that are less valuable in Palworld.

Fishing Technique and Rewards

Approach wreckages with golden rings and use your fishing rod to extract loot. The fishing mini-game requires hitting the correct spot to achieve a successful extraction.

Each successful fishing attempt yields Coralum Ore along with valuable bonus items, including Armour Schematics. Armour Schematics prove particularly valuable because you can craft legendary versions at the Schematic Table, even though legendary drops occur rarely in the wild in Palworld.

Farming Area Boundaries

Focus your fishing efforts in the waters between Feybreak and Volcano Island. This region consistently spawns wreckages with golden rings. Avoid areas where wreckages display black rings, as these indicate lower-quality loot zones.

When you encounter black-ringed wreckages, turn south and avoid approaching the volcano zone too closely. This boundary awareness ensures you spend time only on high-yield fishing spots.

Respawn Mechanics

It takes five to nine in-game days for a wreckage site to respawn once you clear it. After you've cleared a region, wait around a week before heading back to seek additional wreckage places in Palworld.

Because of the extended respawn period, it's better to do thorough clearing runs instead of short excursions all the time.

Maximizing Rewards

Get a totally condensed Jellroy to help you catch more fish. Go north to Phantom Isle, where Jellroy only shows up with one other type of Pal in Palworld.

Because the spawn rate is so high, it's easy to catch more than one Jellroy. Weaken Gelroy specimens and see them using standard procedures. Because there aren't many Pal varieties on Phantom Isle, it's easy to get the Jellroy you need to make farming more efficient.

This fishing method excels at providing both Coralum Ore and supplementary valuable items, making it a perfect approach if you are seeking diverse loot rather than pure Coralum Ore in Palworld.
