Making cakes in Palworld requires careful planning and effective resource management. If you set up a good cake farming operation at your base, you won't have to keep going out to get resources in Palworld.

This guide discusses all five essential ingredients and provides tips for making them last.

Making Berries

To start your cake farming, plant Berry patches around the outside of your base. You can't get Berry Seeds by engaging in regular outdoor activities, such as gathering.

Place these seeds in the appropriate farming areas and assign Pals with the right talents the task of caring for the patches.

To make your task easier, set up a separate storage box just for ingredients. Set up your basic settings so that Berries are automatically sent to this specific container in Palworld.

This keeps ingredients from being mixed up in different storage compartments and keeps everything organised when you need them to make a cake.

Making Flour

In Palworld, making Flour is similar to farming, although it takes more processes. Getting Wheat Seeds from the Settlement early in the game makes this ingredient easy to get during the first stages of building your base.

Use the same Pal assignment technique to set up several Wheat fields within the bounds of your base. After you pick the wheat, run it through a Mill to turn it into Flour.

This extra stage makes Flour production different from Berry farming, yet in Palworld, the same rules for automated collecting apply.

Getting Milk and Eggs

To obtain Milk and Eggs, you need to catch and keep a specific Pal species in your base. Chickpeas appear frequently in the early stages of exploration, making it easy to start generating Eggs.

To get Milk, catch Mozzarina specimens near the Ravine Entrance fast travel location. There are a lot of Mozzarina spawning in this area, thus there are many chances to see them.

Each Ranch building can hold up to four Pals at a time. Plan how your base will look based on what you want to do in Palworld.

Four Pals per Ranch is plenty to make cakes and raise animals simultaneously. Dedicated resource bases can help build more Ranch structures, which will enhance production capacity.

Getting Honey

Honey is one of the most challenging things to farm in large quantities. Get Beegrade from the Sealed Realm in the Swift region, where a lot of them spawn close to the quick travel point in Palworld.

For the best Honey output, you should strive for sixteen Beegrade. Place caught Beegrade in the Ranch buildings, where they will produce Honey on their own over time.

Pals will take Honey to your ingredient storage box using the same automated method they use for other goods.

Finding Other Ingredients

You can buy equipment from merchants instead of growing Milk and eggs in Palworld if you have a lot of money. This method demands a lot of Gold reserves, but it means you don't have to breed Pals in your base.

Build a market stall and catch a merchant inside it. Go to the Settlement and find the Red Merchant. Use Pal Spheres to catch this NPC. Consider weakening them first while wearing a Ring of Mercy so they don't get hurt too much.

After you catch the Red Merchant, use your Monitoring Stand to put them in your Stall in Palworld. This builds a permanent store in your base, where you can purchase Milk, Eggs, and other ingredients as needed.

Berry and wheat cultivation are still cost-effective, but buying animal products can make making cakes in Palworld a lot easier.
