To make your Hexlight farm work, you need to know where to put things and how to use what you have. This guide shows you two great places to develop your base, allowing you to reach important Chromite nodes and get Hexlight supplies quickly in Palworld.

The core position has a lot of resources and is safe, but the second alternative has more Oil nodes and allows for different kinds of development.

Primary Location: Cave Base Setup

Find the Lowest Plains on your map and follow the river from there. If you look to your left as you go along the canal, you will see rocks that seem like trees with arches. These rocks will indicate the entrance to the cave.

Go through the tunnel system until you reach the cave's deepest point. There is a Pal Tamer within that you can catch and employ for your base operations in Palworld.

Put your Pal Box in this region and start building the infrastructure for your base around it. This cave is an excellent location to farm Hexlight, as it features four nearby Chromite nodes.

While you work on making your farming more automated, you can pick these nodes by hand. You can set up Hexlight nodes all around the cave system once you achieve level 61 and unlock Hexlight Quartz in Palworld.

The best way to get Chromite is to collect it by hand until you beat the boss in the region and can use automated farming structures.

You can obtain all the necessary materials from a single base location when setting up your farms. You can collect the Hexlight from the farms and combine it with the Chromite from the nodes.

Secondary Location: Mountain Plateau Base

To start your journey to the other base location, go to the Hidden Passage Oculus Gate. From here, get in your vehicle and drive up the road that goes to the left.

Follow this trail until you get to the top, where the road splits off to the right. To go to a higher plateau area, take the right branch.

This place offers several benefits in Palworld, including flat ground suitable for building, a high elevation that is ideal for gliding, and natural protection from aerial defenses in the surrounding area.

There is one Oil node located in the middle of the base area on the plateau, and there is also one Chromite ore node that is easily accessible. There are two more nodes nearby that have more Chromite resources if you need them.

Additional Locations

To get to the second Chromite node, go straight east from your base until you see a big rock formation.

Find a little rocky outcrop that is above this central rock structure. Stand south of the big boulder and look around to find the other Chromite node.

Follow the road system until you reach a ledge-like formation to find the third Chromite node. Find the exact rock marker in this area, then look outside the tree line to see the last Chromite node.

This site features three Chromite nodes and two Oil nodes, making it a suitable choice for players who require access to a diverse range of resources. The level land also makes it possible to build bigger bases and gives you room to grow in the future in Palworld.
