Making the Chef’s Kitchen Habitat in Pokémon Pokopia can be confusing at first because one key item is easy to miss. The biggest problem is the Stylish Cooking Pot. This is the item that usually stops progress. Once you get it, the rest of the habitat is simple to build. If you are trying to unlock the Chef Dente setup, this is the exact layout you need.
Get the Stylish Cooking Pot First
The most important item for this habitat is the Stylish Cooking Pot. This item can be gathered from the Mansion. If you have been trying to make the habitat without success, this is likely the missing part. There doesn't seem to be an easy recipe for it early on, so getting it from the Mansion is the easiest option.
Once you have the Stylish Cooking Pot, you are ready to build the rest of the habitat. That is the hard part done.

Place the Core Kitchen Items
After getting the Stylish Cooking Pot, place it down in the habitat area. Then place the Frying Pan as well. These are the first two important pieces. Make sure the area is clear, and use only the items needed for the setup, rather than leaving extra kitchen furniture in the space.
This part is straightforward once the right item is in hand. The main thing is using the exact pieces that count toward the habitat.

Add the Sink and Table
Next, place a Sink. This one is easy to find near the upper area where the chef will be staying. After that, do not place more kitchen furniture by mistake. Instead, make a Plain Table. The Plain Table uses Lumber and Twine; craft them first, then place them in the habitat.
This is the part that can throw people off, because the setup needs a simple table rather than more advanced kitchen-style furniture.
Finish the Chef’s Kitchen Habitat
Once the Plain Table is down, place the Cooking Board on it. Then place the Plate. After that, finish the final placement to complete the setup. When all these pieces are in the right place, the game recognizes it as the Chef’s Kitchen Habitat.

The final build uses the Stylish Cooking Pot, Frying Pan, Sink, Plain Table, Cooking Board, and Plate. With that full combination in place, the habitat is complete for Chef Dente.
