Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Guide | How to Get 8 Eggs in 10 Minutes
A fast breeding method using Ditto, Egg Power Level 2, and a Picnic basket check.

Breeding in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet is much easier once you use picnics correctly. Eggs can appear while you are in a picnic, and you do not need to run around a daycare anymore.
With one quick setup, you can pull multiple eggs in a short window and start hatching right away.
Get A Pokemon Pair Or Use Ditto
You can breed by bringing a male and female of the same Pokémon line. That works, but using Ditto is usually the easiest option because it can breed with most Pokémon. Go to the Ditto area shown in the route, where many disguised Pokémon can actually be Ditto. Use the left trigger to check each Pokémon’s name so you do not have to fight everything.
If the name shows Ditto, it is a Ditto. If it shows question marks even though you already have that Pokémon, it is likely a Ditto as well. When you confirm one, start the encounter and catch it.

Buy Egg Power Level 2 From The Diner
After you catch Ditto, stay in the same general town area and head to the diner shown on the map. This shop sells Egg Power Level 2. This meal helps eggs appear faster during a picnic, which is key to getting several eggs in a single short session.

Start a picnic and wait 10 minutes.
Once Egg Power Level 2 is active, set up a picnic with the Pokémon you want to breed. Then wait about 10 minutes. After the wait, check the basket and collect what is inside.
In this method, the basket can stack multiple eggs at once, so keep checking until you pull them all out. In the example run, the basket reaches eight eggs after the 10-minute wait, with eggs appearing one after another as the basket is opened.

Where The Eggs Go And How To Hatch Them Fast
When you finish the picnic, the eggs go into your boxes. From there, put the eggs into your party and start moving. You can ride around or fly around to speed up steps. In the example timing, hatching takes less than two minutes of movement before the egg opens and a Pokémon appears.

Quick Notes To Keep The Farm Going
This works best when you keep Egg Power Level 2 active and stay consistent with the 10-minute basket check. Keep using Ditto to make breeding simple, and keep scanning wild spawns with the left trigger so catching extra Ditto stays quick.
