This guide will help you find all three Crests needed to unlock the main door in the Shizumi Residence mission in Silent Hill f. These Crests are required to progress through the residence and solve the puzzles blocking your path. Follow the directions below step by step to collect every Crest and complete the related tasks in Silent Hill f.

Finding Crest 1

Start at the locked Crest door inside the Shizumi Residence. To get the first Crest, locate the Calendar by heading down the hallway from the Crest door, then to the far end door on the right, where the Calendar hangs. Pick it up and return to the Crest door.

Hang the Calendar on the wall to the left of the Crest door, which will illuminate a nearby darkened room, opening access to the next area. Proceed through this area, then go straight to find the next Save Point around the corner. After saving, turn left into the next room in Silent Hill f.

In this room, solve the Scale Puzzle by placing the Headless Doll on the left and the others on the right. Completing it yields the First Crest.

Finding Crest 2

Return to the previous Save Point to start searching for the second Crest. From the save room, turn left, then right, and go down the hallway to a door. Enter the room to find the Missing Painting in a Picture Frame. Collect it, then go back to the Save Point. Next, go left into the adjacent building, then left again and right into the indicated room in Silent Hill f.

Hang the Picture Frame to trigger a cutscene with Hakaco and her family, then return to the save room’s hallway. To advance, from the save room, look left for the entrance to Shizumi Residence 3.

Enter and reach the second Save Point on the right, then save your progress. Proceed to the Trophy Room next door. In the Trophy Room, examine the cabinet near a Book for a Block of Wax. Take the Wax to the Kitchen in the map’s lower area and get a Propane Tube. Return to Shizumi Residence 1 through the connecting door in Silent Hill f.

In the Photo Room, find the missing photo slot and insert the Picture Frame. This begins the Photo Frame Puzzle: rotate photos correctly, with the new photo upside down. Completing it will give you the Second Crest.

Finding Crest 3

After getting the second Crest, go to the Kitchen in Shizumi Residence 1. Inspect the Pot and attach the Propane Tube. Interact again to add the Block of Wax, which melts to reveal the Fletching Key in Silent Hill f.

Use the Fletching Key to explore further areas by heading to Shizumi Residence 2, then directly into Residence 3. Continue down the hallway, avoiding enemies, until reaching the final locked door. Unlock it with the key, trigger the cutscene, or skip it, and pick up the Third Crest inside.

With the final Crest, return to Shizumi Residence 1 at the Crest door. Use the Crests for the final puzzle.

Solving the Crest Puzzle

The last obstacle is the My Room Puzzle at the Crest door. Place the pieces in the following order: position the small balancing piece at the bottom, the Fox on the right side, and the Sword on the left side. Then pick up the Scale piece at the bottom, rotate it, and set it into position. Solving this puzzle will unlock the way forward in Silent Hill f.
