The UFO Ending can only be accessed after meeting specific conditions and following a set of actions. By following the instructions below, you will be able to trigger this unique Ending during your playthrough.

Starting the Requirements

To begin the process of unlocking the UFO Ending, you must first interact with all available Radio Broadcasts throughout the game. In some playthroughs, only the first Radio interaction is required, but for others, all of them may need to be triggered. After completing this step, locate and interact with three specific Posters in a particular sequence to progress toward this Ending in Silent Hill f.

Preparing for New Game Plus

You must first complete the game at least once. After finishing your initial playthrough, save your progress at the end. From the main menu, load the save file marked as NG+ to begin a New Game Plus run.

You may choose any difficulty mode for this, though it can be done on the Lost in the Fog difficulty if preferred. Starting a new game in this mode will grant access to the necessary locations for the UFO Ending in Silent Hill f.

Interacting with the Radio Broadcast

Once in New Game Plus, head to the specific area where the event begins. Use your map to navigate to a hidden section illuminated by a light. Continue moving forward until Hinako crouches down automatically. At this point, listen carefully to the Radio Broadcast to progress.

Finding the Posters

After listening to the Broadcast, you must locate and interact with three Posters in a precise order in Silent Hill f.

First Poster

While progressing toward Rinko’s House in the Rice Fields, you will encounter an obstructed path. Move the object blocking the way to reach the area shown on your map. Proceed toward Rinko’s House and interact with the first Poster near that location.

Second Poster

Much later in the story, after defeating Sakuko, the being with the open mouth, in the Otherworld section, exit the area and continue until your objective directs you to the Middle School. Once you have cleared the Truck that was blocking your path, you will be tasked with catching up to Shu and Rinko. The second Poster can be found during this phase of the game.

Third Poster

The third and final Poster is found shortly after the second one. Return to the Main Street area where you encounter a large enemy. Move through the nearby Alleyway, eliminating any enemies that stand in your way, and interact with the third Poster to complete this step in Silent Hill f.

Completing the Sequence

After interacting with all three Posters, return to the Main Street area. Defeat any enemies that appear, or choose to evade them if possible. Once the area is secure, approach the table on your left and interact with the Saucer placed there. This action will trigger the UFO Ending and complete the process.

By carefully following these steps—listening to the Radio Broadcast, finding the Posters in the correct order, and activating the Saucer—you will successfully unlock the UFO Ending in Silent Hill f.
