Silent Hill f Guide | How to Defeat Ara-abare Boss

Here’s how you can defeat one of the first bosses of the game.

The Ara-abare is one of the first few bosses that you will encounter in the game. It’s one of the bosses that can’t be killed outright, and your goal would be to incapacitate it for as long as you can until you can receive the necessary item drop and run away.

When the battle starts, the boss always has a tendency to launch forward; a well-timed dodge would be key to do a fully charged focus attack, which will deal a lot of damage as well as stagger the boss.

He is the focus of the attack. You want to use the left trigger until the moon sign on your HUD does a blip. The next attack will do a focus attack, doing a lot of damage.

Repeating this cycle will allow you a lot of opportunities to land hits.

The monster will rely on a wide variety of move sets, from a spit attack to a swipe. The combo is the one you need to watch out for, as it’s difficult to dodge all of its strikes.

It also has a grab once it gets close enough, but it’s easily dodgeable.

Once you weaken the boss, you want to head to the nearby well and raise the bucket by interacting with it. Doing so will raise the key inside, but midway through, another zombie will appear, and the boss will start regenerating and rejoin the fight.

You’ll want to lower the boss around the haystack to give you space to continue raising the bucket. You can also use the shed to distract the boss and quickly raise the bucket.

Timing is really important, and if you decide to interact with the well while the bosses are nearby, you’ll most likely get hit.
