This Ending shares similarities with The Fox's Wedding Ending, but has one critical difference. You must avoid Red Capsules and get the Sacred Sword, but unlike the previous Ending, you cannot purify the sword.

Main Requirements

Do not consume any Red Capsules throughout your entire playthrough. You can collect them if necessary, but discard them immediately from your Inventory to be safe in Silent Hill f.

Getting Sacred Sword

You must have the Sacred Sword for this Ending. The method depends on whether you've already completed The Fox's Wedding in a previous playthrough.

If you already finished The Fox's Wedding Ending in an earlier playthrough, you'll find the Sacred Sword waiting for you at the second Jizo Statue when you start your new game. Simply pick it up from this location in Silent Hill f.

Difference from The Fox's Wedding

Once you have the Sacred Sword, do not purify it. Keep the weapon in its original state with all its special properties intact. Avoid the red liquid pool where purification occurs. This is the key distinction that separates this Ending from The Fox's Wedding.

Triggering the Ending

Once you've avoided all Red Capsules and have the unpurified Sacred Sword, proceed to the Shimizu Residence. Enter this location to trigger The Fox Wets Its Tail Ending in Silent Hill f.
