After you have collected all the Offerings and unlocked the Sacred sword, you’ll have to purify it by solving a specific puzzle.

Reaching the Agura no Hotei-sama Location

Travel to the area where you need your fox powers. Ascend the stairs from this starting point and move past any enemies you encounter. Use your focus ability on a wall to proceed. Continue following the path downward until you reach a puzzle area in Silent Hill f.

Solving the Puzzle

Listen carefully for a specific audio cue. When you hear it, ring the bell. Wait for the same sound to occur again, then ring the bell a second time. Repeat this process one more time, but use a different bell for the final ring. If done correctly, the water in the area will turn red, indicating the puzzle is complete in Silent Hill f.

Finding the Purification Site

Before heading to the Shimizu Residence, follow the path leading upward via stairs. Continue until you discover a Pool filled with Red Liquid.

Completing the Purification

Put the Sacred Sword into the Red Pool. This process gets rid of the sword's special abilities, which are needed to start The Fox's Wedding Ending. This briefly makes the weapon less powerful, but if you follow these steps, you'll always have the Sacred Sword at the start of a new game in Silent Hill f.
