Squad is a game that encourages tactical playtime and crucial decision making skills. First Person Shooters like this game come far and wide, Project Reality, Arma, Red Orchestra 2…but they are simply not this game.

Built on the Unreal Engine, Squad provides gorgeous visuals amongst a raging battle. With matches of up to 100 players, the firefights can sometimes be chaotic and confusing. That is the beauty of this game, it does such an excellent job at portraying how confusing and terrifying a real-life gunfight can be. In Fall of 2016, Off-world finally released the long-awaited vehicle update to the game. Since then, the combat has risen to new levels of fun and frustration.

One thing that Squad has become known for in the past year of development is its phenomenal involvement with its community. Most of the players in the game will tell you that they discovered Squad through one of their many “Free Weekends”. Overall Squad is a shooter that many people in the gaming community have been wishing for. The game has been through consistent trails since its 2015 release, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere but up in 2017.Tactical Shooters are usually hit or miss, and Squad is a home run.
