Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon Guide | How To Romance Alisa

In Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, you can get a free house and romantic partner named Alisa early in the game via a specific quest. However, you must pay close attention to dialogue options when talking with Alisa, as she is an NPC who likes praise. You'll lose the House and Alisa if you choose the wrong dialogue.

Starting the Quest

Head over to Ron's Tavern in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, located by the sea, and search for Alisa in front of a building. Head over to her to receive a quest regarding clearing bandits from one of her buildings. 

Follow the Quest, head to her Mansion, and find three Bandits outside. Make sure that you are well-equipped enough to attack them. Kill all three Bandits, head inside the building, and clear out the other two inside Bandits.

Return to Alisa and report your success. You'll meet her at her residence and be rewarded with 1,000 coins. Alisa will request that you go to her house. Go to her again, and she will tell you that her Husband, Duncan, has disappeared and needs your assistance finding him.

Finding Duncan

Alisa will provide you with a letter regarding the kidnapping of Duncan in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. Finish the Quest and read the Letter to place a marker on your map. 

Proceed to the new location, where you will see Undead patrolling close to an opening to a Cave. Kill them and go inside the Cave. 

You will find that Duncan faked his kidnapping because he did not want to go home. He'll tell you to tell Alisa he's dead, telling her that if he comes back, they'll be miserable. Agree to this request to tell Alisa that he's dead.

Go back to Alisa with the bad news of Duncan's death. She will be upset and sell you the house for 300 coins. Don't buy the house. Instead, take the final response choice and instruct her to remain in the house. This is necessary to get the house for free.

Building Relationship

Alisa will request that you get some things from a Crate near where you found Duncan in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. Go back to the Cave and retrieve them. 

If they don't spawn immediately, sleep to move time forward, and they should respawn. Once you've retrieved them, rest for one day and then return to Alisa.

Reward Alisa with the Nobleman's Doublet, and she will be grateful. Talk to her about her Husband again to give her the Silk Glove. 

This unlocks a new mission that will cost you 12 Seashells, which you can collect by eliminating Drowners on the beach. Collect all 12 seashells and come back to her.

Now that you have collected all the Seashells in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, you can tell her to spend quality time together. There is a Beach-Resting-Place that needs fixing. 

Purchase Wood from the blacksmith (you may also buy an Axe if required) and chop some more Wood at the location. Gather a minimum of 20 pieces of Wood to fix the place well.

Tell Alisa about the spot you have fixed, and she will come to visit you there for a Romantic Talk. Select all the positive talking options throughout this scenario to keep the relationship building going.

Return to the Mansion and talk to Alisa again. Select dialogues that reflect your feelings towards her and mention that you want to stay longer. She'll tell you to stay with her in the Mansion.

Alisa will show you how to repair more things at home. Since you already possess enough Wood, the job will be easy. Finish the repairs and go back home to get your rewards. 

Open the cabinet to get strong items stored there. You now have the House and Alisa as your Girlfriend, having completed this Questline.
