To get the Cold Sun in Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon, you need the free Bonus Content 2 DLC. This weapon is a two-handed scythe. You can find it as an immaculate item drop while you explore, but buying it is much faster.

Scythe Abilities and Risks

The Cold Sun uses a mechanic called Frenzy. Every time you deal damage, you get a stack of Frenzy that lasts for 10 seconds. You can hold up to 50 stacks. Each stack gives you 2% more attack speed and 1% more critical hit chance.

However, each stack also cuts your incoming healing by 2%. If you let the Frenzy run out, your character will become Overexerted for 6 seconds in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

Heading to the Village

You must reach Act 3 to find this weapon. Travel to the Forlorn Swords and look for Volker Village. Once you arrive at the village, look for the stone steps. Walk all the way up those stairs to reach the higher ground.

Where to Buy the Weapon

At the top of the stairs, you will find Flaithri's Forge. Go inside the building and speak with Flaithri. He carries the Cold Sun in his shop inventory. Simply open his menu and purchase the scythe to add it to your gear.
