Each riddle combines poetic clues with hidden locations, encouraging you to explore Bywater's landmarks—lakes, forests, and docks—while keeping that warm Hobbiton spirit alive.
Follow the hints below, solve each mystery, and watch Daisy appear to mark your success.
Riddle 1: The Eye of the Lake

"In the eye of the lake, there stands a tree.
And in its roots, you'll find what you seek."
You need to go to the small lake south of Willow's Workshop, close to the Cotton Farm, to figure out this puzzle. A small rock in the shape of an eye is in the middle of that lake. Crossing the stream is possible by carefully going across the stepping stones.
Next, go to the base of the single tree. Look for the gems that sparkle that are wrapped around its stems. If you touch them, Daisy will appear and help you finish your search.
Riddle 2: The Roaring Falls

"In the heart of the forest, it calls.
Where the river doesn't run, it falls.
Where the water doesn't babble, it roars."
This clue points to the great waterfall at the southeastern edge of the map, just beyond Tree Root Pool. You won't find a flowing river here—only a thunderous drop.
Cross the nearby White Bridge to reach the edge, then seek out the glowing spot perched perilously close to the water's brink. Interact with that glow, and Daisy will materialize to mark the riddle's completion.
Riddle 3: The Keel in the Sand

"A wanderer with neither foot nor wheel,
when its journey ends, its keel hides in the sand."
A simple rowboat with no wheels or legs is talked about in this verse. Its keel sits on the shore. You need to go to the wooden dock next to Old Noakes' house, which is just east of More Water Village.
There, you'll see the boat stuck on the sand. Approach the vessel and interact with the shimmering sparkles nestled alongside it; Daisy will then appear to seal your success.
