The Blood of Dawnwalker Guide | How to Get Pieter’s Garb

Pieter's Garb is a Legendary Light Chestpiece obtained by completing the treasure portion of Volk's Buried Past questline. Progress Volk's story until he reveals the location of Pieter's hidden treasure.

Start Buried Past

Travel to the Ruined Hut near Svartrau City and begin Volk's questline. You will need to visit Volk multiple times and complete the tasks he gives you before the treasure section becomes available.

Progress Volk's Questline

Keep helping Volk and return to him as needed. On the later visit, Volk tells you about the treasure connected to Pieter, Coen's father.

Agree to help Volk search for the treasure. This unlocks the location of the Secret Glade where Pieter's chest is buried.

Find the Secret Glade

Travel to the Giant's Pawns area west of Parlita. Follow the quest marker into the mountains until you reach the Secret Glade.

Look for a circle of stones near a large tree and a fallen tree trunk. Use Focus Mode to identify the disturbed patch of ground.

You need a shovel to dig up the chest.

Dig Up Pieter's Treasure

Dig at the marked spot and open the chest. Inside, you will find Pieter's Garb, along with items connected to Pieter's story.

Pieter's Garb provides bonuses to Maximum Human Health, Human Health Restoration, Weapon Critical Hit Chance, and Weapon Critical Hit Damage.

Final Thoughts

Pieter's Garb is tied to the Buried Past quest, so you cannot simply go to the glade at the beginning of the game and collect it. Progress Volk's storyline until he reveals the treasure, then dig up the chest at Giant's Pawns.
