The Outer Worlds 2 Guide | Confession of a Sub-Finagler Quest

The "Confession of a Sub-Finagler" quest in The Outer Worlds 2 requires you to place a specific mysterious audio module inside a restricted facility. This guide will explain how you can solve this relatively short but navigation heavy quest.

To access the elevator that takes you down to the restricted facility, you first need to cross a bridge using a Rift Anomaly, which will form floating structures allowing you to pass.

After making your way down, you’ll enter a restricted area. 

Head straight and then make a left where there will be another elevator waiting for you. Going up, make your way straight across the hall, and then go left, and on your left-hand side, there will be a hidden door within the ice in front of the small staircase. 

You’ll need to be careful as there might be hostile enemies patrolling the area.

After heading inside the door beside the ice, there will be a special council where you’ll be able to insert the Mysterious Rations Audio Cartridge. 

You’ll need to wait a few seconds for the audio to stop playing. Doing so will show a prompt that tells you that you have completed the Concessions of a Sub-Finagler quest.

The quest will be marked as an important narrative point, exposing the secrets of the Sub-Finagler operations in The Outer Worlds 2.
