When you start The Outlast Trials, you will have access to three maps: Police Station, Fun Park, and Orphanage. Each of these maps includes five missions in total.

These consist of one main mission, two smaller challenge missions, and two Final Tests, which are more difficult versions of the main mission.

Unlocking Program X

To access the Program X mission chain, you must first complete all five missions within each of the three maps. This means you need to finish a total of fifteen stages.

The completion requirement is based on survival—your performance grade does not affect your progress. As long as you complete the mission and it is marked as finished on the trial screen, it will count toward unlocking Program X.

If you are unsure which missions you still need to complete, you can check the trial selection screen. Any missions that remain ungraded indicate they have not yet been finished.

Once you have successfully cleared every mission across all three maps, Program X will become available in your trial selection menu. It will appear as a new selectable option, marking your access to the next stage of trials.
