As a player in The Outlast Trials, you can get and use Amps to change how the game is played. Once you hit Level 10, these become available. They give you access to a new type of improvement that helps you do better in trials. There is a seller in the upstairs cafe where you can buy and control amplifiers.

Unlocking and Equipping Amps
When you hit Level 10, you can use Green Vouchers to buy Amps. It costs three Green Vouchers for each amp. At first, you can only wear one Amp at a time. At Levels 15 and 20, however, you get extra spots that let you take up to three Amps at once.
In your loadout screen, amps are shown by putting them in one of the three circle spots below your Rig setup. As you grow up, you can get new amplifiers at certain levels. Getting the higher-level Amps takes more time and progress, but each one has a different effect that can change how you deal with enemies and stay alive.

List of Amps and Their Effects
Level 10 – Slippers: Walking on glass no longer produces noise, though running over glass still does.
Level 12 – Hide and Breathe: When you enter a hiding spot, your stamina begins to recover instantly.
Level 14 – Cacophony: Thrown Bricks and Bottles generate louder noise, drawing the attention of enemies from a greater distance.
Level 16 – Double Doses: A Resurrection Syringe can be used twice before it becomes depleted.
Level 18 – Hide and Heal: While hiding, your health starts regenerating immediately.
Level 20 – Strong Arm: Thrown Bricks and Bottles have an increased stunning effect on enemies upon impact.
Level 22 – Noise Reduction: Reduces the noise created while running or when opening doors.
Level 24 – Quick Escape: When you take damage from an enemy, your energy and moving speed briefly go up, which lets you get away faster.
Level 25 – Antitoxin: Half as long as Full Psychosis lasts, and Partial Psychosis improves slowly over time.
By progressing through levels and purchasing these Amps, you can tailor your playstyle with different functional advantages suited to your approach during trials.
