The Outlast Trials Guide | How to Complete the MK Challenge 2 in Police Station

In the MK Challenge 2: Sabotage the Lockdown, you enter the Underground Parking Lot for a task that requires locating a single Generator, refueling it with Gasoline, activating it, and escaping the area.

The challenge is structured to test your awareness, coordination, and ability to navigate the maze-like layout while under constant threat from multiple enemies.

Objective

The Generator is usually found near the farthest part of the Underground Parking Lot. Your main goal is to find it. The Gasoline Can, on the other hand, is put close to where the trial began. You need to get the can, take it through the maze, and make sure it stays with your group until the generator is found.

Once you reach the generator, refuel it and complete both required mini-games to power it on. Doing so will fulfill the objective and allow you to complete the trial.

Route and Strategy

Begin at the starting area and immediately search for the Gasoline Can. Once found, carry it carefully through the corridors and tunnels of the Underground Parking Lot. The generator is located deeper inside the map, so expect a long traversal filled with multiple enemy encounters.

It is recommended to pass the Gasoline Can between teammates as you progress, ensuring that it remains in your group’s possession at all times. Losing or misplacing it will delay your progress and increase your exposure to enemies.

Enemy Encounters

Along the way, you'll face many dangerous enemies, such as Leland Coyle, Large Grunts, Grunts, Berserkers, Screamers, Pushers, and Pouncers. These enemies watch or wait in different parts of the Parking Lot, so you have to be careful about where you go and stay alert.

Stay as active as you can and avoid long-term commitments. Awareness of your surroundings is critical, as many of these threats can detect sound or movement.

Completing the Task

When you get to the Generator, put the Gasoline Can in place and begin filling. Start the two mini-games that are needed to turn on the generator once it is full. To get the power back on, you have to finish each mini-game.

When the generator is fully operational, the lockdown will be sabotaged, marking the end of the challenge. From there, you must make your way to the exit to conclude the trial.
