Top 10 Loser characters

There are characters in games who are very cool and people like to be like them. There are even some characters who are such losers that people think that these guys have serious issues. These guys are hated or even symphatized for being such a sorry character. here I list you the top 10 loser characters that I met in my gaming history.

 

 

10. Liu Kang (Mortal Kombat series)

 

 

He is supposed to be the Champion of Mortal Kombat but he acts like he is dying with every single hit he gets from his opponent. He screams like hell. He screams like he is so scared that he is going to pee his pants out. At the point when the opponent is going to make his “fatality” move, prepare yourself for the ultimate scream and close your ears. What’s wrong with his dress-ups? He is always keeps himself without clothes at the top although he is not a macho man to show off his body since he has no muscle.

 

9. Squall and Tidus (Final Fantasy VIII and X respectively)

 

 

I thought Squall as the ultimate coolest character until I reached Disk 3 of Final Fantasy 8. He was not talkative, stoic, straight forward and a no-nonsense character, which I thought a perfect leader. He even wields one of the awesome weapons in gaming history, the gun-blade. Thanks to Rinoa, his whole awesome characteristics fell apart. His attitude changed totally when he fell for Rinoa and took into extreme level when Rinoa got into serious comatic unconsciousness. This guy acted like Romeo losing Juliet permanently; even he knew Rinoa was alive. He was like he could not think of anything else (even saving the world, which he took full responsibility) or his other teammates. He acted stupid in most scenarios even risking his life by venturing into space (by floating) alone with no jetpack just to find his love, Rinoa (he even did not have back up plans to bring her back; just he wanted to be with her). Only luck saved them. Even Rinoa’s cure was just luck and Squall was not part of the cure. I am not against love, but its side-effects. Because love makes people change an awesome character into something loser and even makes people senseless about everything, even life. Those who are sensible do know how to handle love and make it successful. I also put Tidus in the same ranking because he is very wimpy in nature. He is not an able fighter and he tends to complain a lot, enough to make people around him irritated.

 

8.  The Lee Brothers (Double Dragon)

 

 

How losers these brothers can become!  At first they battle through hordes of gangs just to save their single girl of life. Then later when they finally rescued their girl, the arrogant, ungrateful girl urges them to fight each other to death, so the winner can take her home. What happens next? The brothers fight each other. Yes they are brothers and they are destroying their brotherly relationship for a single ungrateful girl, who is using them. You never know, the girl may even dump the winner too.

 

7.  Kuros (Wizards and Warriors II: Ironsword)

 

 

This guy does not know how to use his own skills, even his own basic skill of swinging his sword being a knight or swordsman or whatever. I hardly killed an enemy with his sword swinging. Either I had to jump or take some damage while killing the enemies. That is not all. He even dares to go to the shop with no money in his pocket and eventually ends up getting kicked out by the shopkeeper. Even the shopkeeper pulls him out by his ear. He wears armors but still takes the same amount of damage like the damage he gets even he is bare-naked. It seems that he does not want to live so he wants to get tortured so badly by opening himself. Ironically he tries to save the world from the Evil sorcerer Malkil.

 

6. Slippy Toad (Star Fox series)

 

 

Not only this character is a loser, but he is very irritating. He is not able to assist Fox in any way in the mission. He is like a serious burden to Fox and his teammates. Every time Fox is busy with shooting down the enemies, Slippy Toad messages him that he is in trouble and Fox needs to save him soon or he would go down. Almost all the gamers would like him to be dead or they would volunteer themselves to shoot the frog down just to stop his frequent help messages. If he is not capable enough and always fall into danger then why did he join Fox’s team on the first place thus jeopardizing the mission overall?

 

5. Luigi (Mario series)

 

 

This guy will never be on top of Mario unless or until he grows his own attitude for himself. He cannot compete with Mario. Even though he has the ability to jump higher than Mario, still he can’t beat Mario’s speed. Every time you guys going to see Mario saving the princess almost every time since 1982, when Donkey Kong kidnapped the princess. Mario is featured everywhere. He made his own brand name. Luigi, being Mario’s pal, cannot even get featured. He is given a chance to feature in his own game, which is Luigi’s mansion, but he acted in such a way that is not a hero. He is scared and constantly looks for Mario. He is so dependent on Mario. This guy has no backbone. He is a loser and always be a loser.  

 

4. Mario (Mario series)

 

 

Why can’t Mario realize? Why can’t Mario realize that Princess Toadstool is just toying with him? Why the princess gets kidnapped every time and why is it by the same villain, Bowser. Is there anything going on between the princess and Bowser? Is the princess cheating on Mario? Confusion, confusion!!!! In Super Mario World, the princess gets out from Bowser’s flying machine after Bowser gets owned by Mario. If princess gets kidnapped, she was supposed to be put into prison or something or locked somewhere else. However in Super Mario World, she was with Bowser. Even, she didn’t do anything while Bowser was trying to kill Mario. At least she could annoy Bowser while Mario defeats him easily. Mario on the other hand has spent his whole life, just to waste his valuable energy, while to going to different castles and travelled miles for a long period of time just to find her. He still does that. I am so sorry for Mario. He should move on with another girl. Mario is brainwashed. He only thinks about her. So sad!

 

3. Dan (Street Fighter series)

 

 

Irritating as hell, this guy is so optimistic and thinks he will be the number one Street Fighter. He is only into talking but no action. This guy can’t beat the hell out of others. It will take a lot of beating from Dan for the opponent to go down. Even his special move takes out few of enemy’s health and he makes a cheesy smile with a wink after he makes his special move at the camera. He is not focused at all, then how can he become the number 1 fighter? He even cries like a baby when he wins a match. This guy is so immature.

 

2. Koopa (Mario series)

 

 

These hopeless enemies will only think of committing suicide and yes they do that. They are assigned to kill Mario. However they try to walk and try to touch Mario while not even realize that Mario can jump and dodge them either leaving them to be ignored or be doomed. Not only Mario steps on them, Mario can kick them, so that these Koopas can hit each other thus knocking each other out. That’s not all. The Koopa is determined to walk in one direction, even though in some case his path will lead to a pit and to his own death. They are senseless, stupid little beings who have no hope in living there own life to their fullest. They would prefer death for good.

 

1. Larry Laffer (Leisure Suit Larry series)

 

 

This perverted guy will do anything to score a girl. Those who played Leisure Suit Larry games will know what I am talking about. He will risk his life, humiliate himself in front of everyone and will do anything what the girl orders in order to fulfill his lifelong desire to get on to bed with her. He is witty when it comes to perverted thoughts but stupid in everything else. He is not a character with whom the girls will go out. That’s why he even could not score a girl successfully in his whole life. Still this guy is determined. I can’t go into details, since some stuff could be offensive for some people, but those who played the series can surely agree that this guy has serious issues.
