You should prioritize weapons and armor upgrades in each town, convert surplus Sepith or Sepith Mass into Mira when short, and rotate saves before boss gauntlets.
Enter fights stocked with cooked dishes, apply permanent "Droplet" stat items, and leave "Long" Bracer quests for later if main-story progress unlocks better gear.
Orbments & Quartz Made Simple

Get early access to spots and plan your Quartz by the number of elements needed on each Orbment Line to get to the key arts. Aim for Earth Guard for safety, Clock Up for SPD, Anti-Sept to get rid of buffs, and Chaos Brand to confuse.
Focus on the Sepith that you have the most of, and keep in mind that many bosses are stronger against elements than debuffs.
Core Combat Loop
Open with buffs and control, not raw damage. Use Estelle's Morale for party ATK, stackable when needed, then layer delays and debuffs like Estelle's Whirlwind (STR↓) and Joshua's Flicker (AT Delay).

Maintain Clock Up uptime so turns snowball in your favor, and save 100–200 CP to answer enemy swings with S-Crafts at key moments.
A Teachable Early Boss: The Great Crop Muncher
Against The Great Crop Muncher, Time Joshua's S-Craft Sever via S-Break to erase enemy buffs the instant they appear, or cast Anti-Sept (two Time, two Mirage) to dispel.
Keeping CP banked lets you steal momentum without waiting for a normal turn, preventing wipe scenarios caused by stacked enemy boosts.

Turn Bonuses = Free Power.
Watch the timeline for Critical, free Arts, and CP/EP/HP bonuses. You deny bonuses by delaying, breaking, or defeating the unit slated to receive them; then you collect those bonuses on your next turn. Even a small AT Delay from Flicker can swing a Critical from a boss to you.
Status, Accessories, and Cancels
Treat status as a primary weakness: land Mute, Petrify, Confuse, or SPD/ATS downs whenever possible, and equip accessories to block the ailments bosses rely on.

Cancel charged attacks and Arts with Impede effects like Sever or Schera's Bind Nail to cut lethal damage before it happens.
Smart Progress Over Grinding
Most power comes from quests, recipes, and chest finds; grind only if the builds stall. Target enemies that are slightly higher level for efficient EXP, and chase Sepith turn bonuses to finish Quartz plans quickly.

Rest at inns to restore 100 CP for 100 Mira, so you start major fights ready to S-Break and control the pace.
