How to Get Flint

You can get Flint by picking up loose pieces from the ground or by breaking Flint Boulders. During the early part of your adventure, you can rely on loose pieces since you do not yet have a tool that can break the boulders.

When you search for loose Flint, you can explore the land between Aunty’s House and Bufo’s House, which holds many pieces in Winter Burrow.

You can also visit an Abandoned Backpack south of Bufo’s House. To find it, you can leave Bufo’s House through the south-west exit, head south, and follow the edge of the water. You will eventually reach a backpack near a rock and some Clover, and you can collect the Flint inside.

When you look for loose pieces, you can identify Flint by its form, which differs from Granite pieces in shape and texture. This helps you separate the two materials during exploration.

Using the Flint Pickaxe

As you progress, you can craft the Flint Pickaxe, which allows you to break Flint Boulders. Once you have this tool, you can collect Flint in larger amounts with less effort.

Flint Boulders usually appear in groups of multiple rocks, often arranged in ways that set them apart from other boulder types in Winter Burrow.

You can find many Flint Boulders in the zone north of Moss’ House, as well as in the land between Aunty’s House and Bufo’s House. With the Flint Pickaxe, you can break each boulder and gather the material at a steady pace.
