Yes....Me, Me...and aslo Me!

So a little about myself. Shameless, carefree, worryfree, Comonsenser, logicker, gamer, literalist, jokester, prankster, lazy, procrastinator, wise, life experienced, honest megalomaniac, tolerant, modern old fashionist.

 

Sure the above listed is a small list of what i am, but is it WHO i am? sadly, it is only half. Who is but the form following the function of what and what I am is a guy sitting on his chair waking up @ 7am on Saturday because his body clocks have been formated since highschool. Anyways we shall move on to the true Who.

 

Born Tomas Velez (from here on Dramus), i don't have a middle name but i do have 2 last names which for the sake of conversation and to always keep people guessing i never say it as it kills the fun moments. Born on January 21 of 1986 at approximately 7 somethingish at night. Oddly enough in my country that day IS a national holiday, sadly it has nothing to do with me being born that day. Was born in the lovely Island of Dominican Republic which is just South of Cuba, west of Puerto Rico, East of Jamaica and north of who knows what. Which means that we get a lovely collection of Wannabies, Pot Heads and communists and some sort of psychotic fritz that grips the people because of our neighbouring islands/countries. I was raised in New Little Habana, laso known as Miami, Florida. which is riddled with old cuban people and the ones that arent cuban are old either way.

 

I picked up my first game when i was roughly 9 years old. i had no interest for any type of electronic device that was not a television before that age. To tell the truth, i remember my first game, and to think that it was actually a type of shooter its just funny lol, the first game i ever touched and played and got hooked/addicted to was Guerilla War for the NES. After that Duck Hunt and Mario Bros. were very much abused (my max level in duck hunt was 105...i had to stop because i had to leave and was getting bored of killing ducks)

 

After gaming, i started getting into computers and i became a hermit at a young age. I had lots of friends, but i just simply never went out. I used to either play or read books (3 or 4 books a week for about 2 years was my normal rate) because of all the reading, as it turned out, by 4th grade i had the mentality and reading level of a 9th grader according to the Florida examiners. and by 8th grade i had college level reading levels. then i stopped reading as much and went more into gaming. ofcourse, i was very lazy in school. hardly ever did my HW, slept alot in class. but i still almost always aced or b'ed my tests in any one course. the secret, as it turns out, to passing any course EVER is just to simply listen. and since i had mastered the ancient art of sleep listening, i could freely sleep and follow along in class. I remember back in 12th grade during Government class, i fell asleep and the teacher already knew that i still payed attention even in my sleep so she didnt bother me. but some guy next to me fell sleep and she woke him up, he got mad and demanded to know why she doesnt wake me up. she simply returned to her book, asked me to put my head up and continue reading where the girl on the other side of the room left off. i put my head up, flipped a page and started reading where she left off. the guy then realized that i wasnt really sleeping, just "resting my eyes" lol.

 

anyways, this is going on long enough and i must wrestle the dog im allergic to (he's a lovely dalmatian) so end all of this ill simply add. That i am a person that hates, loathes, despises, abhores, wishes the worst on liars, cheats (not video game cheats...) thiefs and hypocrits. in my opinion they are the worst types of people. Honesty and Respect are the key to taking anyone very very far in life. If not professional, then personal.

 

I love older, retro games so to speak. Chrono Trigger, Breath Of Fire, Earlier FF's, Earlier Zeldas, Tales of Phantasia, Seiken Densetsu, etc. i got into shooters somewhat after Halo 1, and CODMWF2 just made me love them more.

 

Apart from gaming, my likes are oddly enough, Cleaning (anything but my room) going around town (with someone or else its boring) going to the movies on fridays with the pals, listening and observing people, and helping anyone in need really. i Love manga, i like anime, i admire Japanese Culture, and i enjoy socializing. I am honest as mentioned and will not hesitate to tell someone who annoys me off. and i dont even have to mention my love of Kitty's.
