A lot of new information about Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the next game in the Call of Duty series, has been leaked from several different sources. Despite some early setbacks, things are starting to look very good for the upcoming shooter game, as Activision and Treyarch are getting fans ready for a big launch on November 14, 2025, with new promotions, content updates, and event news.
Monster Energy is running one of the first promotions for the game. Players can get in-game rewards by entering codes found under specially marked cans. The campaign will run until April 2026 and give away prizes like operator skins, plans, and XP tokens. Signing up for Monster's magazine is another way for players to get a free Black Ops 6 operator.

The mid-Season 5 update for Black Ops 6 has also been released. It's a large download designed to reduce file sizes in preparation for the Black Ops 7 beta. If you log in before September 16, you can get 20 free tier skips. If you log in before October 1, you can get an extra 15 hours of XP points.
The update also adds the Jackpot map, which combines parts of Black Ops 4's Casino mission and the Avalon campaign goal. When you play with other people, games like Cranked Demolition, Blueprint Gunfight, and Ransack are back. Fans of Zombies can look forward to Directed Mode support in The Reckoning. However, a long-rumored "super Easter egg" wasn't shown off.
Warzone doesn't get left out. In a new game called Deadline, players and AI bots compete against each other, and the teams with the fewest points at the end of each circle collapse are eliminated. A mid-season event based on Nuketown adds skins for mannequin operators, a PPSH attachment, themed camo, and even a Mastercraft package. The next Hell Rider event will bring more prizes, such as two GPR blueprints and the Gravemark revolver.
Activision confirmed that after Season 5 Reloaded is over, the focus will turn to a full reveal of Black Ops 7 zombies gameplay. This will be followed by COD Next, where the multiplayer trailer will be shown for the first time. The beta won't be split into two weekends like it was last year. Instead, there will be one long session, with half of it saved for early-access players and the other half open to everyone.
Season 6 of Black Ops 6 will begin the day after the test ends, keeping fans interested until the new game comes out. Activision also made its carry-forward strategy clearer. Early rumors said that a lot of content from Black Ops 6 would be carried over to Black Ops 7.
However, only XP tokens and Gobblegums have been confirmed to stay. The Vault Edition comes with four operator skins, five Mastercraft blueprints, a permanent unlock token, and entry to BlackCell for Season 1. Pre-order bonuses include early access to the beta and the Reznov Challenge Pack.
Treyarch confirmed that Black Ops 7's story will have 11 linear co-op missions and Endgame, a new 32-player open-world extraction mode set on Avalon that will be unlocked after the campaign is over and will get support after the game comes out. The multiplayer mode is a mix of Black Ops II and Black Ops III.

It has 16 launch maps, some of which support Faceoff 6v6, and a bunch of guns that fans love. In this game, Overclock upgrades are used instead of Specialists. These improvements are linked to equipment and score streaks. Because the weapon prestige system has been expanded, seasonal events will offer more camo prizes than ever before.
Early in September, the zombies reveal is set to happen, and it's likely to include a cinematic intro, a gaming trailer, and a detailed blog post. At launch, there will be a full remake of Transit, the return of Survival mode, and Dead Ops Arcade 4.
The Season 1 update for Warzone has not been announced yet, but rumors say it will include a bigger Liberty Falls map made just for Resurgence. If what they say is true, places like Liberty Falls, Shattered Veil, and The Reckoning might soon be a part of battle royale.
With a lineup of content and events that span multiple games, Black Ops 7 looks like it will be one of the most ambitious games in the series so far, ready to take the momentum from Black Ops 6 right into the next era.
