Aliens: Fireteam Elite Guide | Demolisher Class Build for Extreme and Insane Difficulty
A guide on how to dominate using the Demolisher class in Aliens: Fireteam Elite.
Game Guide by Groot on Aug 11, 2025
The Demolisher class transforms from the most broken class in the game into the most broken-overpowered class when built correctly around Micro Rockets in Extreme and Insane difficulties.
Your primary function involves area denial, crowd elimination, and high-threat target destruction through precise rocket deployment.

This guide outlines the perk combinations and tactical approaches that make Demolisher the most potent damage dealer when mastered properly.
Core Perks - Everything on Micro Rocket
Precision Rocket turns the most broken class in the game into the most broken-overpowered class in the game.
Quick & Dirty synergizes with Precision Rocket for triple skill cooldown efficiency. Loud & Clear provides 20% more damage and synergizes with Quick & Dirty for more cooldown.
Fire & Forget increases the targets' damage taken by 25% with your rocket. Bigger & Better provides 40% more blast radius. Batteries Included gives a 20% recharge speed. Rapid Deployment provides a 20% recharge speed.

Build Options
Build No.1 - This build leans towards weapon performance, only works with a Recon in your team:
Down & Out provides 20% more damage on knocked-down targets. Demo Heavy Training gives 20% max ammo and 15% reload speed.
Demo Heavy Expertise provides a 20% explosive radius and 15% damage - the only perk in the game that directly increases weapon damage.

Build No.2 - The rocketeer build:
All four Quick Recharge perks end up with 100% recharge speed, halving cooldown. Tier II Enhanced Reach provides a larger blast radius, which equals more target hits, which equals more cooldown. You can worry less about nearby targets when trying to focus on an elite target.
Gameplay Tips
Throw a rocket when there are 3 or more enemies. Use the rocket to probe blind spots for hidden Crawlers. Don't use Blastwave too indulgently, as its cooldown time is long.
Save it for crucial moments, such as saving grappled teammates, knocking down high-threat targets when someone is about to get hurt badly.

Recommend using rifles that can be equipped with Anti-Material Break for knockdowns or Astra for crowd control. Demo does not need much weapon damage.
