Finding Sand Leaf and turning it into Sand Leaf Powder is a key step for your end-game progress. This plant is vital because almost every recipe in the Grinding Unit requires it. This guide will show you how to find your first leaf, build a farm that multiplies it, and use base tools to manage your layout.

Finding Your First Sand Leaf

You will find this plant once you move past the Origin Lodespring region and enter the Power Plateau. Look for areas with orange ground in Arknights: Endfield.

There is a lot of Sand Leaf near the first teleporter in this region. You only need to pick one. Because of how the machines work, a single leaf can be turned into thousands back at your base.

Building an Automatic Farm

You do not need an Outpost to build this, just a clear space in your base. First, place down a Seed Picking Unit. Make sure the arrows face to the right, as the rest of the build will follow that direction.

Next, place a Planting Unit two blocks away from the Seed Picking Unit. Leave a gap so you can put an Electric Pylon in the middle for power. To start the cycle, connect the Seed Picking Unit to the Planting Unit with two conveyor belts.

Then, run a belt from the outlet of the Planting Unit back into the inlet of the Seed Picking Unit. Once you put one Sand Leaf into the Seed Picking Unit, it will turn into two seeds, grow into two plants, and then loop back to become four. It doubles every cycle in Arknights: Endfield.

Making Sand Leaf Powder

Once the loop is full and running well, you can start harvesting. One Sand Leaf produces three portions of Sand Leaf Powder. Place a Shredding Unit one block away from your machines with the arrows facing away.

Connect one outlet from the Planting Unit to the Shredding Unit. Keep the other outlet connected to the loop so the farm stays in progress. Then, place a Protocol Stash a block away from the Shredding Unit.

Use three conveyor belts to connect them because the shredder works very fast. This Protocol Stash uses very little power and sends everything inside to your base storage every 10 seconds.

Managing Your Base Layout

As you expand, you might need to move your farm. You can do this easily in the top-view mode using Bulk Actions. Press the Bulk button or X to drag a box around your entire build.

From here, you have a few powerful tools. You can press Ctrl + C to copy the build or F to stash it all away if you want to clear space.

The most useful tool is the Move tool. Press M to pick up the entire selected build. You can then press R to rotate it and place it anywhere else in your base. This keeps the farm running while you reorganize in Arknights: Endfield.

Using Sand Leaf Powder

The powder you farm is used in the Grinding Unit, which is a high-quality machine. This unit is used to make advanced materials for the endgame.

Since every recipe for this machine needs the powder, having a steady farm will save you a lot of time as you upgrade your base with materials like Ferrium.
