Here is everything you need to know about marrying an NPC and which characters across Pywel are open to romance.
Reaching max romance is only part of the journey. In Crimson Desert, to propose you’ll need to hit personal milestones, respond to written invitations and complete unique romance storylines.
Unlocking Milestones
As you continue to build standing through daily greetings and conversations, you will hit distinct relationship milestones. Reaching these points triggers special personal events.
Keep an eye out for a white dove, which will fly in to deliver a personal letter from your partner. Reading this letter immediately adds a dedicated romance sidequest to your journal, moving your relationship toward its next major phase.

Romance Sidequests & Confess (Complete)
Romance quests are primarily personal quests. You will often need to set up a scenic date location or craft a tailor-made gift for your partner, so it helps to keep a steady stash of rare crafting ingredients in your inventory in Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown DLC.
During these outings, pick thoughtful and affectionate dialogue options whenever you are prompted. Giving a dismissive or rude answer can hurt your standing and stall your momentum.
Toward the end of these events, you will get an option to confess your true feelings, which formally pushes the relationship into its final commitment stage.
Propose and Trigger the Wedding
To unlock the proposal prompt, you need to fulfill three conditions: max out the romance meter at 100 standing, confess your feelings during their story events, and finish every romance sidequest tied to their storyline.
Once those requirements are met, the Propose interaction becomes available in the dialogue menu. Selecting it triggers a dedicated cutscene showing your character and your chosen partner holding a wedding celebration.
All Romance Options in Crimson Desert
The game gives you a mix of high-profile storyline characters and everyday citizens to pursue across the open world in Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown DLC.
The Witches of Pywel
The standout romance candidates are the Witches of Pywel. While players originally knew them only as rare vendors offering high-tier gear, they now serve as the marriage candidates in the DLC.
Confirmed romanceable witches include Elowen, Bari, Lyselia, and Areciel. Each of these four characters features a complete storyline with a full marriage cutscene at the end.
However, not every member of the coven is open to love. Neither Sylvia nor White Crow can be romanced under any circumstances, so do not waste your time trying to court them.
Strangers, Vendors, and World Residents
Outside of the main witch faction, you can court dozens of ordinary residents across the towns, outposts, and wilderness of Pywel. This includes local shopkeepers, settlement craftspeople, and wandering travelers you cross paths with on the road.
Eligibility among everyday townsfolk is handled on an individual basis. As long as a character shows the active heart icon next to their name rather than a crossed-out symbol, you are free to win them over, complete their requests, and eventually propose in Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown DLC.
