As you get better with the big sword, you will unlock new ways to fight. These skills help you do more damage and stay safe. You do not need to wear special items for some of these to work.

Skills You Have at the Start

You get three skills as soon as you can use the stance. Strong Attack lets you hit twice. The second hit is very hard. Zack will run to the enemy to hit them, but he will not turn to a new one if the first one dies in Crisis Core –Final Fantasy VII– Reunion.

Enhanced Guard is also ready right away. It makes you take much less damage when you block. You also get Necrosmose. This gives you back some magic and energy every time you beat a foe. You do not even have to be in the stance for this to work.

Skills for High Skill Levels

Once your skill bar reaches 23%, you get Damage Limit Break. This is very good for big fights. It lets your stance moves do more than 9,999 damage.

You can hit bosses for a lot of health this way. At 47%, you get Barrier Piercing. This means your stance attacks go right through enemy shields. The enemy might still have high health, but their magic shields will not stop you in Crisis Core –Final Fantasy VII– Reunion.
