In Death Stranding 2, you can unlock the Creature Comforter Achievement by rescuing wild animals and delivering them safely to the Animal Shelter.
This guide tells you everything you need to do to get into the facility and find, capture, and return creatures to improve your reputation and earn valuable upgrades.

Unlocking the Animal Shelter
The ability to rescue wildlife becomes available upon reaching Chapter 3 or Chapter 4, where the central storyline grants access to the Animal Shelter.
Once permission is given, a nearby Beacon shows up on the map behind some rocks to show where the shelter is and where animal rescue efforts can begin.
Locating Wild Animals

After completing the quest to unlock the shelter, patrol the surrounding region to discover animals roaming the landscape. To check the area, press the Left button on the D-Pad.
This starts a scanning mode that shows small shadows that draw attention to nearby creatures. These shadows lead you straight to where each animal is, so you can get close to them without taking any extra steps.
Capturing Animals
Upon detecting an animal, approach it carefully. Wild creatures behave like standard cargo items: walk up and use the grab action to support the animal on your back.

Treat the creature’s crate as you would any other delivery container, taking care to minimize damage during transport.
Delivering to the Animal Shelter
Go back to the Animal Shelter by the way you came, making sure the animal is safely on your shoulders. Keep your speed steady and stay away from things that could knock the crate around.
Once inside the shelter’s delivery zone, deposit the animal to unlock the Creature Comforter Achievement instantly. You may repeat this process multiple times to raise your reputation level at the facility.

Reputation and Upgrades
Delivering wild animals not only grants the Creature Comforter Achievement but also increases your standing with the Animal Shelter.
A higher reputation yields access to upgrades that prove invaluable in subsequent missions. Regularly rescuing wildlife is a reliable method for earning these enhancements early in the game.
