Digimon Story: Time Stranger Guide | How to Get Imperialdramon Paladin Mode
Unlock the Omni Blade and evolve into Imperialdramon Paladin Mode with a clear, step-by-step path.
Game Guide by Ornstein on Oct 07, 2025
This guide explains exactly how you unlock Imperialdramon Paladin Mode by obtaining and using the Omni Blade evolutionary item.
It lays out when you can start the process, the location to visit, the challenge to clear, and the precise evolution route—so you can secure the item-based evolution and transform Imperialdramon into Imperialdramon Paladin Mode efficiently.
When You Can Start

You need to reach the point in the story set in the future version of the Factorial area. Progress through regular gameplay until the Colosseum becomes available and the Omni Carnival side content unlocks.
This content appears naturally as you advance, functioning as an optional side quest that opens a series of challenges.
Where to Go: Colosseum & Omni Carnival
Head to the Colosseum and enter the Omni Carnival. There you will find multiple challenge tiers. Work through the available challenges in order. As you clear them, a special challenge named Imperialdramon Paladin Mode will eventually appear.
The Challenge: Imperialdramon Paladin Mode

Select the Imperialdramon Paladin Mode challenge and defeat Imperialdramon Paladin Mode. Clearing this encounter grants the key reward: the Omni Blade.
Treat this as a pivotal progression step; once you have the Omni Blade, you can perform the required item-based evolution whenever the evolution path conditions are met.
The Reward: Omni Blade (Item Evolution)
The Omni Blade functions like classic item-based evolutions (similar in spirit to Digi-Egg evolutions such as the Digi-Egg of Courage or Digi-Egg of Sincerity).
After acquiring it once, you can use it repeatedly for the associated evolution; there is no need to farm additional copies to evolve again. It appears in your inventory’s Enhancements section as Omni Blade and remains available for future evolutions.
Evolution Route & Personality Notes

To follow the canonical fusion path toward Imperialdramon Paladin Mode, first create Paildramon by DNA Digivolving Stingmon and ExVeemon. Ensure that both partners retain their base personality traits—Tolerant for Stingmon and Zealous for ExVeemon—so that the fusion occurs reliably.
From Paildramon, proceed to Imperialdramon. With Imperialdramon obtained, apply the Omni Blade to evolve directly into Imperialdramon Paladin Mode. If you have shifted personalities (for example, to Zealous), you may notice reduced stat thresholds compared to default requirements.
Stat & Rank Requirements
Meeting stat requirements is still necessary at each evolution step. Additionally, you must hold Agent Rank 8 (and ranks 9–10 are achievable within the main game loop, typically around endgame progression). New Game Plus is not required to reach Agent Rank 8–10; normal completion and late-game content are sufficient.
Using the Omni Blade

Open the Enhancements menu to locate the Omni Blade once obtained. The evolution is item-based and repeatable, letting you evolve into Imperialdramon Paladin Mode as many times as you like, provided the base Digimon, stats, and rank criteria are satisfied. There is no need to reacquire the Omni Blade after the initial drop.
Mode Change Flexibility
You can change from either Imperialdramon form to Imperialdramon Paladin Mode, so the item-based development with the Omni Blade still works whether you like Dragon Mode or Fighter Mode. Because of this, you can stick to the fighting style you like during the lead-up without stopping the final evolution.
