The Resonant Edge is a hidden Great Sword found in Darkclaw’s Forest. Unlike the swords awarded after major Alpha encounters, this weapon sits away from the normal progression route, making it easy to pass without realizing there is a weapon nearby. Its effect is centered around frequently bringing captured Souls into combat.
Reach the Route After Stick
Progress through Darkclaw’s Forest until you have passed the arena where you fight Stick. Continue toward the section that eventually leads to Speed. The hidden Resonant Edge route branches away before you enter Speed's encounter.
Near the Save Stone on this stretch, continue through the right-hand turn and defeat the three smaller Raptors ahead. This clears the immediate area and puts you beside the point where you need to leave the obvious route.
Leave the Main Path Through the Trees
After dealing with the three Raptors, move forward and look toward the trees on your left. Jump through this opening rather than continuing toward the next boss.
Follow the hidden path upward. It leads to a rock containing the Resonant Edge. This weapon is one of the swords specifically hidden off the main route rather than placed directly after a World Boss.
Break the Rock and Collect the Resonant Edge
Approach the weapon rock and smash it to release the Resonant Edge. Once collected, the sword becomes available as one of Dinoblade's equippable Great Swords. Swords do not simply serve as visual weapon swaps; each carries its own ability or combat effect.
The Resonant Edge is described around its unusually high spiritual conductivity, allowing captured Souls to be summoned back into battle with high frequency.
After passing Stick's arena, take the hidden path through the trees before Speed and smash the weapon rock to obtain the Resonant Edge.
