Asteron Meteorrend is one of the Great Swords you can obtain while progressing through Dinoblade. Unlike hidden exploration weapons, this blade is tied directly to the main route through Tyrant’s Canyon and becomes available after defeating Kasei the Tyrant.

Continue through Tyrant’s Canyon until you reach Kasei the Tyrant. This is the Alpha encounter at the end of the region, and the fight uses two distinct phases with different weapons and attack patterns. Defeat Kasei before moving deeper into the area.
Defeat Kasei the Tyrant
Kasei begins with an Ankylosaurid used as a club before switching to a Giant Cleaver. Avoid spending all of your Resonance early. Soul Arts such as Meteor Dash and Alpha Roar can create strong openings, particularly once the second phase begins.
After Kasei is defeated, continue forward instead of leaving the area or immediately moving on to another objective.

Break the Weapon Rock
A weapon rock appears on the progression route after the boss. Approach it and break the rock to claim Asteron Meteorrend. Current full-release weapon records consistently identify this post-Kasei reward as Asteron Meteorrend.
There is no additional puzzle, currency requirement, or separate purchase involved. The important requirement is reaching and defeating Kasei the Tyrant.
After defeating Kasei the Tyrant in Tyrant’s Canyon, break the weapon rock beyond the boss encounter to obtain Asteron Meteorrend.
