Your Initiative will determine the sequence in which you fight as you start your adventure. You get to go first if you have a high value here. Your Movement tells you how far you can travel on the battlefield during those rounds. It does this by telling you how far you can go for every action point you pay.

You have two levels of protection to keep you safe as you move or battle. Magic Armor protects you from elemental damage and stops you from falling under magical status effects as long as it remains above zero. Physical Armor works in the same way: it protects you against blunt or sharp blows and keeps you safe from physical status effects as long as it is active.

Survival and Protection

Constitution is what determines the amount of your Vitality pool, which is important for your health. Dodging is a good way to prevent injury completely. Accuracy informs you how often you are to strike an opponent, which is what determines how well you can land your own blows. Your Damage stat reveals how much force you put behind a hit when you do land one. You also have a Critical Chance, which is the chance that your weapon or talents will do more damage than usual.

Mental and Physical Strength

Wits is what makes you conscious of the world. This helps you uncover hidden treasure or see traps, and it also raises your Initiative and Critical Chance. You require Memory to utilize more than one ability at a time. Increasing this offers you more Memory Slots, which lets you retain a wider range of talents available to use.

Scaling Damage

Your main stats affect how strong your attacks are. Intelligence makes your spells and magical weapons more powerful and your Magic Armor stronger. Finesse will help you dodge and enhance your damage if you employ swift weapons. Strength makes your weapons stronger and gives you a benefit to your Physical Armor if you wear heavy gear.
