Dying Light: The Beast Guide | How to Get Legendary SMG Early

Here’s how you can get the Needle, a legendary SMG, Early on in the game.

Techland's Dying Light: The Beast arrives in the genre to add flavour to the zombie horror genre. This edition features enhanced parkour, survival, and enthralling melee combat, set in the wild, dystopian Castor Woods.

This guide will cover how you can get the Needle, a legendary SMG, Early on in the game.

The Needle is an SMG that she didn’t get your hands on early in the game. It can be found in the southern woods area close to the Mountain Shelter Tower. Build a towel, and find a ranger station that requires power to access.

Besides the situation, there’s a shed with a padlock; inside it, there’s a generator. You will still be able to access the shed through the roof, where there’s an entrance.

Activate the generator once you arrive to provide power to the gate.

When the generators are activated and the cable is connected, the gate will open. When it does open, you'll instantly be sworn by a cord of infection. You want to clear the area before proceeding.

When you’re inside the ranger station, there’s a lock blocking access to the SMG. Using the lockpick, you’ll be able to open it. When opened, the SMG will be on top of a desk.

You’ll be able to upgrade the weapon at workbenches to scale with your character level.
