The Grounds gives you plenty of ways to customize your player and create a unique look as you explore the new social world in EA Sports FC 27.

From Street Clothing and Authentic Kits to hairstyles, accessories, tattoos, and Emotes, you can personalize your appearance and show off your style both on and off the pitch.

How to Access Customization in The Grounds

You can customize your player through the Edit Appearance options in FC 27. Your Street Appearance controls how your player looks while exploring and playing activities in The Grounds.

Street Appearance is separate from your Club's Appearance, although some items can be used across both. This lets you give your player a different look in The Grounds without changing your stadium appearance.

What Can You Customize in The Grounds?

There are several different categories available for customizing your Street Appearance.

How to Get Customization Items

The main way to get new customization items is to visit the World Stores throughout The Grounds. These stores offer different selections of clothing, accessories, cosmetic bundles, and Emotes.

You can find World Stores in The Terrace, Montclair, Parkside, and Zeiza. The Grounds Store in The Terrace offers the full range of available cosmetic content, while district stores can feature more specialized selections.

You can also earn some customization items through Objectives and other gameplay rewards, so you don't necessarily have to buy everything from a Store.

How to Buy Customization Items

To purchase cosmetic items, visit a World Store inside The Grounds. Unlike Amps and Consumables, you can't buy vanity items directly from the Store tab on the World Map.

You can earn Grounds Coins by playing activities and completing Objectives, and you can also purchase some items with FC Points. Always check an item's information before purchasing it to see its price and available currency.

How to Customize Your Emotes

Emotes let you interact with other players while exploring The Grounds. You can purchase or earn different Emotes and assign up to eight to your Emote Wheel.

Once equipped, you can use your Emotes throughout The Grounds, and they can also appear during post-match reward sequences in certain activities.

Customize Your Street and Stadium Looks Separately

FC 27 allows you to create separate Street and Stadium appearances. This means you can wear casual clothing and accessories while exploring The Grounds and maintain a different, football-focused look when playing in stadium environments.

This gives you more freedom to create a unique identity for your player without constantly changing your entire appearance.
