Each collectible is categorized by type—Materia, Accessory, and Armor—and includes precise directions tied to the chapter’s objectives and landmarks.

Materia

Healing Materia is received automatically during the Materia tutorial at the very start of Chapter 2, providing Cloud with the ability to cast Cure spells without requiring any exploration or combat to acquire it.

HP Up Materia appears during the Evade Pursuers objective immediately after defeating the first group of enemies (two humans and one dog) on the street.

Backtrack to where the combat began and look behind a car on the road; the glowing purple beam makes this first collectible Materia easy to spot, and picking it up permanently increases maximum HP.

Deadly Dodge is located shortly after the HP Up Materia, still within the Evade Pursuers objective. After overcoming the second encounter, follow the main path toward the next waypoint; on the right side of the street—guarded by three human enemies—a purple-glowing Materia lies in plain sight. Collecting this grants Cloud the Deadly Dodge ability.

Accessory

Power Wristguards can be found in a chest on Loveless Street during the Evade Pursuers objective. After defeating the second wave of enemies on the main route, take the left-hand path; at the end, open the chest to obtain this accessory, which boosts strength when equipped.

Armor

Iron Bangle is found after the helicopter battle in the market square. Continue past the big fight and climb the adjacent ladder; at the top, open the chest to retrieve this upgraded armor piece, which offers superior defense compared to the starting gear.
