From gathering materials to the final crafting, this guide will take you through the entire process in Grounded 2.

Required Materials

Brittle Marble Shard and Brittle Quartzite Shard are two necessary materials for creating these items.

Because both materials are located in the same general area, your collection process will be more efficient.

Finding the Area of Collection

In the early game area, find the Snack Bar area. A rock formation icon will appear when you look at your map and zoom in all the way.

To get to the destination, place yourself to the upper right of this rock symbol. This is your central meeting place, which features a cave entrance in Grounded 2.

Collecting Brittle Marble Shards

The Marble collection area contains three spawn points for Brittle Marble.

You will find the first spawn directly in front of the cave entrance. The second spawn sits nearby to the right of the first location in Grounded 2.

The third spawn appears further to the side of the cave area. Gather all three spawns to ensure you have sufficient materials for crafting.

Gathering Brittle Quartzite Shards

Enter the cave you discovered during marble collection. Travel to the back section of the cave, where you will locate Brittle Quartzite deposits along with some science materials.

Mine the Quartzite deposits thoroughly. The amount you collect from this single location should provide enough material for one crafting session.

Alternative Collection Locations

If you require additional Brittle Quartzite or Brittle Marble, explore Ant Hills throughout the map.

These materials can usually be found anywhere in Ant Hill. When you need to replenish your supplies, consider visiting ant hills and caves, where you can see Marble and Quartzite in Grounded 2.

The Crafting Process

Return to your base once you have acquired the necessary supplies. Go to your Workbench and begin working with it to access the crafting menu.

The recipes for Brittle Whetstone and Brittle Plating are available for selection. Complete the crafting process to obtain your finished products in Grounded 2.
