Rockstar Games may be preparing another marketing push for GTA 6, with vehicles as the main attraction. Recent real-world promotional activity around Miami has featured cars being filmed on the streets, leading to speculation that Rockstar could release a live-action trailer showcasing vehicles driving around the city. With the game's launch approaching, we could also get a closer look at customization and how different vehicles will work in the game.
The idea is worth considering because Rockstar has already shown a surprising number of vehicles throughout its trailers and screenshots. From ordinary scooters and buses to rare supercars, boats, and military vehicles, GTA 6 appears to offer plenty of ways to explore Leonida. A vehicle-focused trailer could bring these details together while revealing more about a system that has received relatively little attention so far: customization.

One of the more unusual additions is the Bumazoom mobility scooter, which has appeared several times in the trailers. You'll apparently be able to ride one yourself, adding another everyday form of transportation to the game. Jason and Lucia have also been spotted driving a redesigned Tulip, a returning vehicle from previous GTA games.
Scooters will be available around the city, including electric models from Lombike, a fictional company that appears to parody Lime.
The same company also offers rental bicycles, giving you alternatives to stealing a car when you need to get somewhere. These small details could make Leonida feel more like a functioning city, particularly when combined with its public transportation.
The trailers have revealed a people mover inspired by Miami's Metromover system, alongside city buses, a Vice City tour bus, and a coach resembling Greyhound vehicles. GTA 6 also appears to feature a ride-sharing service that could function as fast travel, letting you sit back and listen to conversations during the journey. Public transportation could offer a similar experience, though Rockstar hasn't explained whether you can skip ahead to your destination or experience the entire trip.
There are plenty of conventional vehicles, too. The PMP 700 is a new sedan inspired by the Chrysler 300, while other footage features BMX bikes, Vespas, and airport shuttle buses. Some Vespas appear to have upgraded engines, suggesting that different versions of the same vehicle could offer different performance levels.
Supercars will naturally have a major presence.
The trailers feature vehicles inspired by the Chevrolet Corvette C7 and Porsche 718 Cayman, alongside several Lamborghini-inspired models. One customized Coquette racing car has even appeared in Rockstar's real-world promotional activity around Miami. If the rumored live-action trailer arrives, this vehicle could get special attention.
Customization could be one of GTA 6's biggest vehicle features. We've already seen cars with different paint jobs, body modifications, decals, and specialized racing equipment, but the released footage hasn't explained how these systems will work. Vehicles also seem to reflect the neighborhoods and communities they belong to, with some areas featuring heavily modified cars that look nothing like standard models.
That variety extends to luxury vehicles. The trailers show a Lamborghini Urus-inspired SUV, a Jubilee resembling a Rolls-Royce, and a Paragon R that stands out in nighttime footage. Another car appears to draw inspiration from the Bentley Continental GT, while a Buick Reatta-inspired vehicle appears during a getaway.
These cars help establish the differences between Leonida's wealthier areas and its more ordinary neighborhoods.
The lineup also features vans and utility vehicles. The Yuga Classic appears in multiple color schemes, while other footage shows vehicles inspired by the Ford Econoline and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. A customized passenger van is associated with the Ultimate Edition, although a standard version has also appeared in promotional material.

Beyond regular traffic, GTA 6 seems to feature a wide range of specialized vehicles. A Weazel News helicopter has appeared above the map, potentially offering a new way to travel through the air. In GTA 5, the equivalent helicopter was rare and couldn't be flown, so making it usable would be a notable change.
Leonida's rural regions will have their own transportation options. A large tractor unit with a long trailer has been spotted near Mount Kalaga, and Miami Beach has lifeguard vehicles such as an ATV and a Ford Explorer-based truck. These additions suggest vehicles suited to the area, not that every area will have the same selection.
Police cars are another big part of the lineup.
GTA 6 has a police version of the Gauntlet from GTA 5, undercover SUVs, specialty trucks, and vehicles for different departments. A fire truck has also appeared in Rockstar's screenshots, sporting a bright green color inspired by Miami's distinctive emergency vehicles.
Tow trucks could prove particularly useful. One appears throughout the extended footage, and using it to tow other vehicles could open up new possibilities. Some expensive cars reportedly have immobilizers and tracking systems, making them harder to steal and escape with. If the tow truck can move these vehicles without requiring you to drive them, it could become a useful tool for avoiding unwanted attention.
Other utility vehicles include an excavator, cement mixer, ladder truck, and billboard truck featuring a parody advertisement. The excavator looks more capable than its GTA 5 counterpart, while the ladder truck could provide access to rooftops and elevated vantage points if its equipment is usable. Rockstar hasn't confirmed these mechanics, but functional equipment would make these vehicles more interesting than simple traffic additions.
Getting away from the roads will offer plenty of options, too.
The trailers have revealed a kayak, several airboats, and different off-road buggies. The kayak introduces another way to travel across the water, while airboats appear particularly suited to Leonida's muddy northern regions. Police airboats have also been spotted, potentially giving law enforcement another way to pursue players through difficult terrain.
The off-road lineup includes a sand buggy, a customized vehicle called the Outlaw, and the 1967 Vapid Dominator Buggy, which is listed as an Ultimate Edition exclusive. The returning Blazer ATV from GTA 5 also offers more customization options, including decorative decals. A customized Sand King XL, inspired by the Ford F-250 Super Duty, has been shown covered in mud, further connecting vehicles to the environments where you'll find them.
Water transportation could be particularly important given Leonida's extensive coastline and waterways.
Rockstar has shown a fishing boat, a ferry with a dedicated terminal, and tour boats carrying passengers. The Coast Guard will also have armed response boats, including different versions of the RBS. Players purchasing the Ultimate Edition will receive the Shitzu Squallo, a premium speedboat stocked at Washington Beach with a weapons crate.

Aircraft will provide another way to explore the map. Returning vehicles include the Dodo, while a Sea Sparrow helicopter has appeared in promotional material and on the game's cover art. With so much water across Leonida, aircraft that can land on the surface could be especially useful.
The trailers also show banner planes carrying advertisements, private jets, an Airbus A330, and a Boeing 747. It remains unclear whether you'll be able to fly the larger aircraft freely or only encounter them during specific missions.
GTA 6's exclusive cars include several retro and performance-focused models.
One vehicle inspired by the AMC Javelin is tied to the Ultimate Edition, while another supercar resembles a Lamborghini Aventador. Jason has also been spotted riding an Alvino V1-style sports bike, and racing footage features heavily modified cars inspired by models such as the BMW M2.
Classic car enthusiasts will have plenty to look forward to. The Comet Retro Custom, inspired by the Porsche 911, returns with styling influenced by Japanese aftermarket modifications. Other custom vehicles include an Escalade-inspired SUV, an Albany lowrider with spiderweb designs, and a Ford Crown Victoria modified from its traditional police-car look into a street vehicle. The collection also includes a classic muscle car based on a first-generation Ford Mustang.
Wyman's collection adds another dimension to the lineup, with rare retro vehicles and specialized sports cars. The collection includes a Shelby Daytona-inspired model, a customized Riata, and a retro off-road vehicle. Some of these cars are tied to the Ultimate Edition, meaning standard players may not have access to every model shown in the promotional material.
The 1955 Vapid Stener is another notable addition, available as a preorder bonus.
Its design draws on the Oldsmobile Super 88 parked outside Miami Beach's Avalon Hotel, a real-world landmark that also appeared in GTA: Vice City. Rockstar appears to have recreated the car's appearance closely. The Ultimate Edition also includes the Cheetah Classic and the One-Eyed Willie, a truck inspired by Jeep's Crew Chief 715 concept vehicle, designed for the 2016 Easter Jeep Safari but never made into a production vehicle.
Not every vehicle will be easy to obtain. The trailers show a Bearcat-style armored vehicle, military transport, police helicopters, and other specialized law-enforcement vehicles. These could be difficult to steal, particularly if they only appear during high wanted levels. Undercover police cars may create additional problems because they lack obvious markings and could be harder to identify before it's too late.
Some expensive vehicles already seem to have security systems that let police track them under certain conditions. It remains unclear whether GTA 6 will introduce additional countermeasures for police and SWAT vehicles, but the range of specialized units could make stealing certain vehicles riskier than in previous games.
The largest vehicles may be the most unusual additions.
A gigantic cruise ship has appeared repeatedly in trailers and screenshots without visibly moving, suggesting that it could remain a permanent part of the map. However, a mission involving the ship could let players explore it. Rockstar has also shown a radar blimp near the military base in the Keys, while its real-world promotional campaign has featured a Vice City-themed blimp flying over several states.

Taken together, GTA 6's vehicle lineup suggests that Rockstar is building a transportation system that goes well beyond cars and motorcycles. The game features public transportation, customized street vehicles, luxury models, off-road options, boats, aircraft, and specialized emergency vehicles. Regional differences could also help Leonida feel like a living place rather than a map filled with interchangeable traffic.
A vehicle-focused marketing campaign could finally reveal how these systems fit together, particularly if Rockstar offers a closer look at customization. For now, the trailers have already shown an extensive selection of vehicles, mixing familiar favorites with new additions that could make exploring Leonida one of GTA 6's biggest attractions.
