Finding every Skull on the second level, Halo, takes a bit of jumping and exploring off the main path.

This mission holds three hidden Skulls scattered across its wide-open landscape. You will need to pull off a specific trick for the first one, but the rest are straightforward to grab. Here's where to find each Skull on this level in Halo: Campaign Evolved.

Grunt Funeral Skull

Once you exit the unnatural cave, head toward the beam tower located near the cliff edge. Walk up the diagonal ledge running along the side of the tower. You will need to grenade jump from here to reach the upper platform where the Grunt Funeral Skull rests.

To land that grenade jump easily, crouch down and look straight at the floor when you throw the grenade. This classic engine trick keeps the grenade right at your feet so you get the maximum boost when it goes off in Halo: Campaign Evolved.

Give & Take Skull

After leaving that same unnatural cave formation, head up through the hills and across the open grasslands until you reach a stream.

Follow the water downstream until it leads you to a large cavern entrance. Look to the left side of the cavern to spot the Give & Take Skull floating five feet above a large rock.

Floor Is Lava Skull

Head over to the rock slide holdout area and stand on the rightmost grassy platform. Look across toward the nearby boulder, where the Floor Is Lava Skull sits out in plain sight. Jump across the gap onto the boulder to grab it in Halo: Campaign Evolved.

FAQ

Q. What is the trick to landing the grenade jump for Grunt Funeral?

A. Crouch and look directly down at the ground when dropping your grenade. This stops it bouncing off and gives you enough height to reach the platform.

Q. Do I have to finish the level once I pick up a Skull?

A. No, your progress is saved automatically in the game once you’ve picked up the Skull.
